Miracle Cure

Harlan Coben actually warns us about this book in his Note from the Author. He suggests to pick another of his novels. I should have listened. Very naive and not believable. Didn't like characters either.

I have enjoyed Harlan Cohen for years, but had never seen this, I believe his first book. It is good, but the most interesting thing is that you can see his beginnings and track how much tighter and more concise he has become. There is even the familiar basketball theme. Some of the characters are not as developed as I have come to see in his writing ... and it is amazing to see how dated the technology in the story has become in a fairly short amount of time ... but it is a fun read none the less.

This product performed as expected. Its original description suggested that it did not require batteries or electricity. That was my experience, although I did need an external lighting source to make this product usable. I would have originally noted that in the descriptor. The product was of good quality, with a shiny color. Mostly made of cellulose material, I found it did not too weigh too much. I was pleased about that. I liked that fact that the pages were numbered. It helped me keep track of where I was in the progressive use of this product. Although I deeply mourn the loss of the tree required to creat this product, I once fell out of a tree and couldn't say that I was unable to recover from my grief. I would by this product again.

As a recent convert, this book was another reason to keep buying Coben's books- you really feel for the characters and keep reading, thinking you may have worked out the real devil..until the end, and you are surprised again.

This is a book that keeps you thinking. Harlan Coban gives you the details to solve the mystery, but you better read with total concentration, This is easy to do, because the fine prose, the observations he makes about life and people, the humor, and the care that only an author who loves his work will keep you fully absorbed in this and his other novels. My favorite author.

This was an interesting and entertaining read though not up to the standards that I expect from Coben. In defense of the author this was only his second novel and he did offer a disclaimer at the beginning of the book.

Please remove from pending list. I order too many books to review each. Additionally, individual's tastes differ and my opinion of a book should have no bearing on anyone elses. If enough people like it, it will make the best seller list.

This was an excellent book enjoyed it. Also eye opening to see how people will put other people at risk just to make themselves famous or to prove a point and that they think they have a right to do it

I did really enjoy the book "Miracle Cure" and would like to read more books from Harlan Coben.
I give it 4 stars. This is the4 first book I read frosm this autor, so what book would you recommend I should read next?
