I thought that Witches Canyon was better than Nevermore, like alot of other reviews I see posted here. It captured the series much better with the whole supernatural theme. The main bad guy in Nevermore was a living breathing human. I finished the book because I had nothing better to do at the time. I'm looking forward to other Supernatural books if they are as good as this one.

I thought Witch's Canyon was written very well and stayed true to Sam and Dean's characters. There were some parts that I thought were iffy but overall it was a great read. It was graphic and solid like a Supernatural episode. You don't even have to be a fan of the show to enjoy this book.

This book was even better than "Nevermore"! The fact that they actually go up against something "supernatural" in this book is just one of the reasons why this book is better than the first. The other reasons are the body count, the gore, and the humor that comes with the package of the show. Nicely done! Can NOT wait for the third book!

MUCH MUCH better than Nevermore!!! Witch's Canyon is faster pace and has Dean's humor spot on. Found myself laughing and turning pages well into the night! Definately a must read for Supernatural Fans!!

This is a well-written, very interesting mystery. If you're a fan of Supernatural, you will definitely enjoy this book. If you're a fan of mysteries and ghost stories, you will definitely enjoy this book. Highly recommended for people that follow the show or that like the genre.

After reading this novel, I must commend the author for not only a great interpretation of the Winchester boys themselves, but also an excellent mix of drama, horror, comedy, action and even a little romance. The book is very well written, and really draws you into the story. I truly felt for the main victim in the story and liked her character a lot. Well written, well thought out plot, great book. :)

After reading the first Supernatural novel, Nevermore (Supernatural: Nevermore (Supernatural)), I was so pleasantly surprised by it's quality (Because, frankly, tie-in novels are usually the worst) I anxiously awaited the arrival of the second book, Witch's Canyon, hoping that all the Supernatural novels would be such page turners with well crafted plots, humor, and insight on the characters of Sam and Dean.
What a letdown. Witch's Canyon felt flat to me. Sam and Dean didn't feel in character, and their brotherly banter was nearly absent. The book showed a lack of understanding about some of the conventions the show has already established, especially regarding salt. Plus, the spell the brothers find in the course of their investigation is straight out of Charmed - juvenilely rhyming English, instead of their normal Latin. Heck, give me Old English rather than that. I was embarrassed FOR them that one of them had to say it aloud in front of people, impending horde of supernatural creatures or no.

Much, much better than the first book. Intriguing plot. Interesting characters. Several backflashes into how the boys grew up. Writing makes you feel like you're there. If they have a 3rd book I hope this guy writes it.

The author has clearly viewed a few episodes.
1. There is barely any dialogue. There is nothing that gives the brothers and anyone else in the book, character.
2. Too big of a plot. What I mean is that this is something that you would never see as an episode. Too complex and just drags on.
3. The author must like Dean and hate Sam because it seems that he treats Sam as an idiot.
Would not recommend this to anyone. I recommend Nevermore and Bone Key, though.

This book is thoroughly enjoyable. It continues from Nevermore. Once I picked this up I could not put it down. A thoroughly good read to anyone who is in to the series or just wanting a good book.
