Hidden Prey: Prey

This is the second time reading this book & it is excellent. I love John Sandford's books & will continue to read the Prey books for the second time. Lucas got hurt a couple of times in this story & he doesn't take that well. He is so funny & brave & silly sometimes. Weather is usually a pain. She is much too bossy & dumb. I wish he wasn't married or was married to someone else. I guess it takes someone as hard & opinionated to handle him - I would believe that. The story is very good & it keeps moving all the way.

If anyone wants to read a murder mystery this series is for you. Not only is there mystery but some great one liners and humor too. You will love how the author describes each character. The stores is costly because I believe there are 26 so far but I can't put the book down until finish it and go onto the next one. The are some graphic detailed killings so beware.

I am a long time Lucas Davenport reader and fan. I enjoy his conversations and the people he talks to and investigates in the stories feel as real to me as my own neighbors. Only rarely do I feel like I am just reading a story.
John Sandford creates characters and situations in his stories that feel life like as you read them. So give any books in the prey series a try and you will be hooked also
