The Perfect Husband: An FBI Profiler Novel

Lisa Gardner is one of my very favorite authors. I love everything she writes. This is one of her best books. I ordered this be accident because I already have all her books so far, but I was glad because I gave it to my daughter and she loved it too.

At first this book was kinda boring until you finally knew who she really was. It took me about a month or more to get to that point (because I couldn't bring myself to read it because it was kinda boring), but once it got to the good part I finished the book in a couple days. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.

Another great book by Lisa Gardner. She has a way of sending chills down your spine. And this book is no exception. Without giving too much away she's also very creative in her writing. Keeps you guessing until the end. Which by the way was a very good ending if I do say so myself!

The dialogue and story line at times was just too unrealistic to be entertaining for the type of novel Ms. Gardner was trying to portray. If you are expecting this to be a well written page turner like Ms. Gardner is known for, you will surely be let down.

From the opening chapter the author begins to build the suspense.

The spine chilling sensations she describes experienced by her characters was amazingly reproduced as I read the story. You are drawn into the story as the book unfolds so that you can't stop reading until reading the final chapter.
An unforgettable book.

Gardner's FBI Profiler novels are gripping and full of twists and turns. In "The Perfect Husband," I enjoyed the seductive tension between the two main characters, and I found the story so well-written, I couldn't put it down!

I had read some negative reviews before purchasing this book, but having read one of the author's later works I gave it a try. The story line was a little jumpy but the plot was well written enough to keep me engaged.

I enjoy reading authors I like from their first book to their most recent and seeing how they grow and improve their craft. Lisa Gardner is definitely an author worth reading!

So much was happening with the entanglement of characters I had to concentrate to keep up. I enjoy the FBI series and will finish them all. However, will probably read less stressful books in between the series.

Lisa Gardner's profile of a serial killer was spot on, and leaves you with chills. I am sure many women can identify with Tess and Marion. Great story. And many will wish they had someone like J.T. in their lives.

I enjoyed it an the followup "The Next Accident" I could not put down. FBI agent Pierce Quincy was
cool an Rainie the other main character was a character. I like Lisa Gardner's books but these two
especially.

Excellent story. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Very clever. Typical Lisa Gardner style. She really writes the most amazing stories. In this one every woman really feels for Tess and somewhere along the way in their own marriage encountered some of the attitude of the "Perfecft Husband"

IT SADDENS ME WHAT HAPPENS IN SCHOOLS TODAY AND I DON'T USUALLY ALLOW MYSELF TO READ CRIME STORIES INVOLVING CHILDREN. I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN AS YOU NEVER KNEW WHO WAS INVOLVED IN WHAT WAY. I HOPED FOR A DIFFERENT ENDING BUT THE ENDING WAS REALISTIC FOR THESE TIMES. I LOOK FORWARD TO MY NEXT LISA GARDNER READ!!!! I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR ALL THRILLER BUFFS. I ALSO THANK the store FOR RECOMMENDING THESE LISA GARDNER BOOKS FOR ME. WHAT A GREAT CHOICE.

Every single one of Lisa Gardner's books are awesome! She is so talented. She keeps you wanting more and not wanting to put the books down. I have read every one of her books & she has never let me down!

As ever Gardner lives up to the high standard set by her other novels. Well paced plot, solid characters. Was torn between wanting to reach the end and not wanting to finish. Dilemma every author should strive to impart.
