This started off as a typical douchey rockstar goes in hiding, meet and fall for the small town girl.....but it turned out to be so much more. It's been a long time since I have read something so SWEET and SPICY at the same time.

I loved Shawn and Dakota together especially when they weren't hiding secrets or having misunderstandings. But I guess that was part of the fun. Shawn was very egotistical but he had such a sweet and family oriented side that just made me want to sigh and give him a hug. Dakota was still dealing with a horrific loss plus other family issues but she was still very likable and seem to be a perfect match for Shawn.

There are twists and turns in this story you won't expect and at times I felt it was a lot going on. A nice surprise, I liked the secondary characters, especially Tabitha, she was the outgoing, feisty comic relief.

If you need to change it up a bit this is an enjoyable romance without the over-the-top drama.

This book has a little bit of everything. Heartbreak, grief, love, suspense, finding your true self, true love, friendship....Dakota has gone through a terrible tragedy. Her family is broken, she is so consumed by grief and family issues, she doesn't have time for relationships. She doesn't want love. She doesn't want to be consumed by it. Shawn/Levi is a famous musician, goes incognito as a normal college student to throw off stalkers who are ruining his life. These two meet, and there is just something about Dakota he wants to know. He tries to stay away, but he can't. Its inevitable that they are supposed to meet and have something meaningful together. I liked this story a lot. It was really heartbreaking but its all a part of life. I enjoyed reading how Shawn figured out his love for her. It was so strong, the feelings and his protectiveness towards her. Siobhan Davis wrote a really good love story. I hope she follows up with Nick's story.

Sometimes truth is the only thing that will set you free. For Dakota & Shawn life has given one everything & another nothing. Or so it seems.

Siobhan has a way with words that captivates the reader into staying up ALL NIGHT LONG! This story didn’t disappoint. It’s now 4am irish time. I’m on vacation and needed this read so bad I started it at 11pm. Now with tears, rolling down my face and the cows mowing in the field beside me I love her even more.

Shawn & Dakotas story moved me. Like, I’ll never meet a pop star but who knows who we actually meet in life? This story made me actually feel like I was Dakota. Her demons are real & her emotional impact with Shawn is extremely relatable.

I loved this book from start to finish. Bleary eyed & overwhelmed I’m once again blown away by the Irish author that is Siobhan Davis. Her creative story telling is undeniably unique. Her ability to make you stay up all night & delve into the lives of two people who were destined to meet is indescribable.

When it comes to her final delivery, Bualadh Bos Siobhan, you’re a true irish legend xo

Incognito by Siobhan Davis is a full length, standalone, new adult romance novel.
One troubled popstar + one character who's trying to piece the life back together = one great read who kept me at the edge of my seat.

Meet Shawn, he's a popstar and on top of the world. But mysterious threats force him to lie low. And there's no better place than a college town.
Dakota is a young woman who gave up her dreamcollege to live the life her sister was supposed to. Don't ask for the reasons, they're hard to understand.
When these so different people crash into each other it's crazy chemistry at the first look. They can't get each other out of their heads, but both have secrets, one more than the other.

Incognito is a slow burn with drama, twists and turns. I read the story in one sitting, I had to know what happens to the characters. I liked the story, the writing is great and I connected with the characters. I give 4,5 stars.

Oh, my! Talk about a slow burn which just ignites into flames! I’m a bit of a sucker for people starting to fall in love before having sex. The connection between Shawn and Dakota was viceral and healing. It was great to see how each of them grew from the relationship on a level neither would have attained without the other. Of course, nothing was smooth and easy: they met internal and external obstacles along the way and dealt with a whole lot of heavy situations. I’d have been an emotional mess too! I sort of was since I tagged along with them on the emotional ride, crying a few times and having moist eyes a few more! I also loved how Devin and Angelina from Inseperable were written into the story plot. With a surprise twist late in the game that added a touch of action to passion, Incognito was increasingly and incredibly hard to put down!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance, complimentary copy of this book.

This was a very enjoyable book about a rockstar who goes into hiding after he receives too many threats and close calls from a secret stalker. He goes into hiding in a university and meets a girl. He hides his identity, even from her, to protect against the stalker. The girl also has her own set of interesting stuff going on but I won't go into it In this review to avoid spoilers. In all, this book has an intriguing mystery, romance, lust, and some real situations that keep the story moving. From the very first page, there isn't a dull moment. I really liked Sean a lot more than I expected to upon reading he was a rock star. I though he'd be the sort of stuck up bad boy you see in many books, but he's not. He's very down to earth and that makes him relateable and very attractive. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes contemporary romances with more substance than just lust.

Dakota dreamed of being a dancer and was even accepted to a prestigious school for performing arts. Her family and her dreams fall apart when her sister is attacked. Shawn Lucas dreamed of being a rock star, but found out very quickly that his dream comes at a price. He has a deadly stalker and is in hiding as a college student at the same school Dakota is attending. Dakota and Shawn meet, they fall in love, but she doesn't know that Shawn is a famous musician. Shawn will do anything to keep Dakota safe from his violent stalker, including withholding the truth of his identity, and why he is hiding at the university.
Fantastic romance with some mystery, suspense, and a happily ever after. Fascinating, sexy, and beautifully written characters. I loved this book!

I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this book.

With the summer approaching, this is a definite book to add to your holiday reading list....mainly because I couldn't put it down and I dreamt about reading it by a pool, undisturbed!

A rock-star romance, with a twist! Guaranteed to draw you in from the beginning, it will keep hold of you until it ends! Enter into the world of, Shawn, a troubled rock-star in hiding, and Dakota, a small town girl with a haunted past! I don't want to say much more, as I loved not knowing too much about this story in advance, as it added to both the intrigue and mystery! Add that together with a twist of Siobhan Davis's writing magic and fantastic plotline, and you get Incognito! A stand-alone, passionate, breath-taking rock-star romance that is not to be missed!

Add this to your TBR, you will not be disappointed!

I received an ARC of this book.

Incognito gave me all of the feels. Dakota has such a tragic backstory and her struggle to carry on and find some semblance of normalcy is inspiring. Shawn can be easily dismissed as a spoiled, pampered rock star, but we get to know an inner depth to him and reading as the two of them felt the pull towards each other was a joy. Y'all know that I hate it when an integral part of the plot of a book is characters not properly communicating with each other and we sort of get that here - there are a lot of facts left unsaid in the misguided thought that it is a protection (we all know that's just gonna blow up in their faces eventually), but... here, I didn't mind it so much. And just when you think the story is complete - we get a crazy stalker! Ugh! This book consumed my weekend and I was sad to see it end. 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

This book began with a punch and continued to deliver one from beginning to the end. The secrets Shawn and Dakota are keeping are serious; both should have spilt their innermost problems and concerns but the suspense was intense waiting for it all to come to a head. I was reading every chance I got as I needed to know what was happening next.

I loved the way Shawn fell for Dakota; he was as genuine as he was able to be under the circumstances. He is a special man; so loving and soppy. I love a romantic man. There are so many lovable characters that I couldn't put the book down, there was also a couple of vile people that made my blood boil.

This is my first book by Siobhan Davis but I enjoyed it so much I've already downloaded another one of her books. I can't wait for everyone to read this.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review... so let's get to it.

This is my first time to read something from the author. I didn't know what to expect... I'm always wary and I get anxious when reading something from authors I haven't read a story before... and well with with this one, I actually enjoyed it.

I've read dozens of rockstar romances, and there was even a time when I read the likes of it consecutively...

Shawn and Dakota's love story will definitely give you butterflies... Yeah sure there were times when they frustrated me, but I guess its all part of the package...

It's light and swoony... and has an action and thrilling part... who doesn't want that?! Everybody would enjoy this book!

So this is all I’m going to say about this book and that is I thought it was a very good story. I enjoyed reading it and getting lost in it pages. And I’m going to leave it at that. Siobhan Davis most definitely knows how to weave her stories, she definitely knows how to capture her readers attention and keep them hooked the whole time they are reading her books. Great characters and wonderful realities in all her books!

So yes I do recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in crawling into this story and getting lost within its pages.

This was a great standalone that the author cleverly connected to her other standalone Inseparable which I didn't realize until I finished the book. Anyways, I absolutely love the main characters Dakota and Shawn, both have complicated backstories and find their way to each other. They both are desperately in need of the other even though they themselves don't realize it. This book has everything you need in a good story, suspense, intrigue, desire, and passion. It's exciting and a great book and difficult to put down. I highly recommend this read because the story and characters are easy to fall in love with!

I enjoyed the storyline and most of the characters in this book. Shaun and Dakota are solid characters, but too mature for me to believe they're just 20 years old. I also wish there was more background information on the stalker. Everything was tied up too neatly and it left me with questions. Overall, I would recommend it if you're looking for a light read.

Dakota and Shawn are drawn together from their first encounter into an undeniable relationship. Their hot attraction burns hot together and apart through twists and trials that conspire to come between them. Their story flows effortlessly like the pull of gravity. I loved their story; Siobhan Davis brought it vividly to life and held us in the palm of her hand.

I liked this book but it felt kind of like I’d heard it before... boy meets girl, boy lies to girl, girl finds out, some kind of danger, they live happily ever after.

That said, the romance between Dakota and Levi is sweet. I did also like seeing Devin and Angelina Morgan again.

i honestly really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend. the only reason i am giving it three stars is because of the charcter Dakota. i know she has had some hard past experiences, but a lot of the time she only thinks the worst and doesn't give Levi the chance. He tries to tell her something and she doesn't let him talk but then gets mad when she finds out the truth. She is also kind of selfish and while I do enjoy her as a character, she can be annoying at times. Other than that i actually enjoyed this book and hope that others read it and like it as well.

I couldn’t even finish. The whole book was just too predictable, even for a romance. I have read books with similar plots, and don’t mind reading them again if the characters are interesting. These were not. Dialogue was cheesy and the relationship development was soooo unrealistic. How can Dakota be living 3 hours from her university and Levi/Shaun’s manager happen to live right around the corner? THEN they happen to bump into one another when she’s crossing the road in the middle of the night?!
There were just too many things that made it impossible for me to suspend my disbelief and get immersed in the actual story. The book basically gets 2 stars because I like the general plot idea in other books and the editor did their job in respect to grammar and formatting.

Holy fricking cow this book was just amazing!! This is definitely not one of your usual rockstar romances. The pop star in hiding was something that peeked my interest and Dakota's story just had me in tears. The world building and characters fit so perfectly together that you can imagine sitting in the room and watching what is happening in front of your eyes. It is an absolutely wonderful book. He is in hiding due to his real name n what he does for a living. She is just a girl who has been thru alot in the past year. Her ex has started to bother her n his girlfriend is getting jealous of it. I loved the song he wrote for her. I wanted to kick his assistant butt. I loved the ending

Loved Incognito! Siobhan Davis has written another beautiful love story. Shawn and Dakota both have pasts that have tragedy and real problems. Overcoming pain and grief allowing yourself to love again is what this book is about. But will Shawn and Dakota make it through as a couple?

Can't wait to read the next book.
