I expected the book to be general and mention, "them, they, their" pronouns instead of constantly declaring a male/female relationship. I bought the book because I receive their emails and they don't mention gender at all in them of which is why I bought the book. But I am going to return it due to these two factors.

Like the origin title written to couples generally, this book is thought-provoking, inspiring, and concrete. It is easy to see how the information and suggestions can be applied. The difference is that this work is written specifically to us men. We can understand and identify with what we read. I've been happily married for over 35 years, but I found plenty of advice that I can, should, and intend to apply. My suggestion to other men who seek a higher level of marital communication, love and happiness: read the book! And then implement it.

I read this version before even asking my fiance to read it... Even tho it's written to help men, it still yet gives women a better insight to how men think, feel, instinctively react, and even the immediate and long term effects we as women have on our men. I definitely recommend this book for men to read. Even if your relationship is fine now, these tools will help with future issues before they even begin.

Good read. Overtly attempts to appeal to men. I don't need baseball references in order to understand a topic. Worth the time and the money, if you're willing to apply the strategies. Just reading the book won't help much, you'll need to do some inside work and get past your ego enough to love your spouse.
