It's probably no secret now, that Clive Cussler is my favorite author. Flood Tide will become one of my favorites because I have been to New Orleans many times and could relate to this area in the story. The story line from start to finish made it difficult to insert a bookmark and stop reading until the next day.

Another wonderful read from the master story tellers. Mystery ship discovered where it is least likely to be. Threats to the future safety of America and its future generations stalled by our hero Dirk Pitt.

Typical , C C novel in the Dirk Pitt series . Really liked the mix of characters which provided an interesting twist. As always plenty of action, and plot which exercises the imagination. New and current readers of this series would truly enjoy this book.
Great Mind Candy!!!!!!
The Russian Renaissance (Sokolov Book 1) :: Cyclops (Dirk Pitt Adventures) :: Atlantis Found (Dirk Pitt, No. 15) :: The Mediterranean Caper (Dirk Pitt Adventure) :: Mayday (Dirk Pitt Adventure Book 23)

Great read! Clive Cussler has a way of writing that pulls you into the story. He seems to hypnotize the reader and you become a part of the action...you almost converse with the characters themselves.
I highly recommend this book as well as all the Dirk Pitt series.

Just finishing the last few pages of this book... It is like several stories in one and just when you think the adventure should be over, another one is on the horizon. This is my 4th Dirk Pitt book and I think this one ranks up there with Inca Gold, which still remains to be my favorite. Iceberg, so far, was my least favorite. Treasure of Khan was also pretty good but this book contains more "on the edge of your seat" fun.

It’s typical Cussler, outrageous plot, unlikely characters and a happy ending. What’s missing is the humor and gripping action that his other books have. The action is strained and just not interesting enough. I usually finish his books in under two weeks, this took me several months.
