I love this book because it validates my belief that will power and discipline are the answer for doing important things when in fact is about positive rituals connected to your values that motivates you to do the important things in your life. One great thing about this book that I really love when the author tied everything together at the end and even better actually gives a case study of an actual person. Outstanding!
What I learned is energy is the magic bullet and to maximize its power is what this book is all about. Energy is a resource that extend and depletes and its renewal is essential to be successful. I cannot say enough about this book. If anything just the awareness that you must harness your energy is worth reading.

Feeling exhausted every day after work? Not satisfied with your fitness level, the depth of your emotional connections, your performance at work? I highly recommend this book if you would like to develop a framework to better manage your life in general. The book describes physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energy and how we need to manage each of them to live a well-round life. It helps you build an actionable plan to achieve those goals.

I work as a stress management trainer for humanitarian relief and development workers around the world, so I've read a lot of self-help books in my time. This is one of the best I've read. Beautifully structured, it's finely balanced between research, anecdotes and application. It kept my attention throughout, and most pages now have highlighter on them. It's well worth the time to read and will challenge you gently, but firmly, to assess your priorities and how you are living your life.

this is a very inspiring book Recommended by my professor. It made me to think about the way I live my life and found the problems. The book also gives many useful ideas/tips about how I can improve.

This book will be especially helpful for those who work very hard and often feel tired/stressed/burnout.

An extremely practical guide to full engagement through the management of personal energy. The book explains in detail how to get the most of life through the choices we make. It is heaped with case studies to illustrate the dynamics of personal energy. It provides a holistic approach to getting the most of life through an awareness of physical energy, emotional energy, mental energy and spiritual energy. This book reads so easily and gives so many "aha" moments. Many tips are not new or unknown, but they are presented in such a way that I could apply them to various aspects of my life and commit to making changes. Common sense....if there is such a thing.
Loved this book!

What I liked was how to take advantage of rhythms, and to balance the 4 aspects of your life. But I just didn't feel like this book gave the best solutions for this. It tried, but it just didn't take for me. It lacks the needed "grip" that most self help books should have. However, I found it to be a good introduction to the concepts.

The background of these two authors provided outstanding credibility, and I was significantly challenged by the principles therein. Specifically, their emphasis on the importance of proper rest and sleep caused me to change my life-long practice of burning-the-candle-at-both-ends. I now pay more attention to rest and nutrition.

I never really thought about managing my energy, although I am a good time manager. This book helped me recognize that managing my energy would benefit me more than managing my time. I really like the examples they used, real world example that I could see happening in my world.

Brian Buffini has mentioned this book enough times in his speaking that I had to read it. I was not disappointed-it has had a huge impact on how I am now manging my time and energy. I used to never allow myself to unplug. With this book, I have learned that it is not only necessary to disengage, but when do, I will be able to jump back in and be fully engaged in whatever I do. A must read for anyone who juggles multiple priorites!

The book provides tools to rethink energy use in day to day life. It is as easy as time management to create healthy habit while provide examples to self identify and examine priorities. Easier said than done, the book provides a path to fulfill your priorities.

... and so I’m torn about this book: the principle concept of managing energy for full engagement is one of the most powerful ideas to help people, to be a force for good that could apply to everyone on this planet to how to live a richer fuller life. and they explain why, and show you how. That’s the good part.
The awful part is that the authors totally sold out…. They wrapped the concept up in the idea of using the energy maximization concept for the purpose of becoming a Corporate Athlete… to be more productive at work. Which is important but by no means should that be the overriding goal of maximizing energy. Clearly the authors were thinking about all the money they could make by getting companies to pay them to provide consulting and that is totally lame…..But..
If you can read the book separating the power of the concept of energy maximization from the purpose of becoming a corporate athlete then this book contains one of the most potentially helpful ideas you are likely to come across… and it is applicable to everyone. ..and yes as I write this… I use concepts from this book all the time in my life.
