It has been a while since I read the book Homeworld. I did not realize until I started reading this book how much I miss these characters. Larson provides a well-worded story. In my opinion it is a Space Opera at its best. And I can't wait to read more.

I love this series by BV Larson. A rollicking good read that was hard to put down. I think I read it in record time. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I don't have the next book in the series to read yet. I can't wait for the next one to come out, I know I'll read it immediately.

This book carried on the tradition of the earlier books in the Undying Mercenaries series. Blood and guts bravery, interaction with powerful and dangerous Aliens at every turn. I find these stories surprisingly satisfying.
True Story of Serial Killer ISRAEL KEYES (Movie Tie-In) :: The Complete Far Side :: 150 Serial Killer Files of the World's Worst Murderers (An Encyclopedia of Serial Killers) :: The I-5 Killer, Revised Edition :: Blood World (Undying Mercenaries Series Book 8)

I don't feel like I should answer most of the recommended questions as this is the seventh in the series. However, I will answer how good it is in comparison to the others. It is very much on par but with a lot more character development and maturing for james than is present in the older books.

Book 7 was GREAT!...now, how about book 8?

Clearly book 8 must have the legions caring out their commitment to going to war for the empire. What and where...I don't know but it would be interesting if their target turned out to be world of humans.

I've enjoyed the entire Undying Mercenaries Series. The main character McGill is interesting and entertaining. As are the support cast. The story line is fun and keeps taking good twists. Can't wait for book 8.

Filled with hilarious twists, action, and a complex webs of BSing. James McGill the insane space barbarian/mercenary is at it again. I can wait for the next Undying Mercenaries book. B.V. Larson keep them coming. You keep one fan very entertained one weekend.

Rogue World was the best so far in the series with well thought out twists in the plot. Through all of the books in the series, the author has done a great job of keeping all the back stories consistent which was quite a challenge across seven worlds. It's nice to see McGill getting rank for all his heroic efforts.

This if roe the entire series to date. Much like Marco Kloose's "Terms of Enlistment in many ways" this set of stories had enough differences and came out at the same time to warrant reading both. I laughed hard at many of the witty statements that made me wonder IF BV had himself in mind when writing the many character who tells most of the story. His devotion to Family, Earth and his legion are tempered by his unorthodox and crazy stunts. Only those without humor would say this has no place here. Rougue World the 7th and last of the series when I read may be the end but who knows. I hope there's m,ore.

I am a big fan of BV and the Undying Mercenaries Series. I am always amazed at the stuff McGill pulls off and it's always a lot of fun. I can't wait to get immersed in the next book. Please keep them coming!

Outstanding fun and excitement. Best SF series I've read to date (been reading SF since the 1950s).
Seems logical the next installment takes on a mission to scout the renegade planet(s)he Mogwa have ordered earth to neutralize.

Not my favorite adventure of James Mcgill, but it was still a great adventure. I love all of this series they are really great books, I will be getting the audible to this as well. B.V Keep on writing I will keep on buying I literally think you are the only author besides JK Rowling in which I own every book and audio book you have written/made. Thanks for everything, another great adventure wish there were more races introduced, mcgills game seemed to be slacking in regards to women in this one.

Good continuation to the series, I hope earth builds its own fleet in the next book. This book setup the story for a strong continuation. Please write more of this series and the others you have, I like them all!

Not much for reviews, however I would pay top dollar for any book with James McGill. Mr. Larson has given this character life. In the thousands of books I have read this is one of the few Characters I really love. On the top of the list of who I would like to follow around in a holodeck.

Another great addition to the Undying Mercenaries Series. Take me all the way to the galactic core. I am never disappointed by these books and am always thirsty for more. I want to see how far the ornery cuss, James McGill, will take humanity

Great storyline, very good character development, a lot of action and good humor put in. This is a very easily read story and while I read a lot of sci-fi series available on kindle, the undying mercy series is my favorite. I'd just recommend one starts at the beginning, don't cut in half way through!

That boy James McGill is a FOOL. There was a lot of good material in between all of his chiquanery, and I am happy to say that BV has done it again. People have already given great summary so I will just slow clap and bow to his greatness?...?...?

If you enjoyed the other undying mercenaries books this one will not disappoint you. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times in this book especially during galactics interactions. I enjoyed it.

If you've made it this far in the series then you know what to expect. The newest book doesn't have any surprises in that regard. It is a fun and easy read and as enjoyable as any of the other books in the series.

I really enjoyed the whole series, all 7 books. The revival machine was a unique twist. This allowed the main characters to continue through out the series. It's interesting to see how the author describes alien races.

This has to be my favorite series. James McGill is at his best ; saving the human race and his own skin. While the responsibilities of leadership has some what hampered his usual devil may care attitude, trouble follows him where ever he goes. Can't wait for the next adventure. Fun Read !!!!

Few authors manage to create such a compelling universe with outrageous larger than life personalities and yet at the same time so believable. McGill never quite gets a break from calamities of the Galaxy, yet trough shear grit makes lemonade out of all these lemons. Exciting ride you never want to end.

This series was ok. It kept me distracted and entertained enough to read all the books which is why I gave it an extra star. It was annoyingly repetitive at times, but had some interesting points and overall not bad.

I cannot wait for the next book and hope it is on the way. Just enough review from the previous books but not enough to override the story line. Someone could pick this up as a first book and still know the characters.

An absolute ride, as always. I have read every book in this series from it's inception, and holy crap, it's been a ride. The characters are deep and developed, with their own motives and reasons for acting. Everything makes sense - and then there's the wildcard.

James God damn McGill.

i really like this series and the last book left me is so much suspense. I know that this book will be great because every book in this series has been great. so this rating is not for the book but for the series which is the best series i have ever read.

The Undying Mercenaries is one of my favorite series ever. Very well written. My only complaint with Rouge World is the same complaint I have with all the Undying Mercenaries books and that’s that it’s not on iBooks, but that shouldn’t affect my review of the book overall!

I absolutely love this series and I kind of thought it was done because of how long it took for this book to be published. But it was well worth the wait! If you like the rest of the series then this is a must read

I have been waiting a long time for this book, and Mr. Larson did not disappoint. On the contrary, Rogue World actually exceeded the high hopes I had for it by a wide margin! Thank you Mr. Larson for an all-nighter well spent turning page after page!

Enjoy a good SciFi space novel. This one is entertaining and does not take long to get into the story line. I have read several of this authors books; all have good story lines.
Recommend this to anyone that enjoys space science fiction with other alien contacts

Well written and fast paced with an intriguing premise. Hoping next time the galactic let the legions issue some better quality weapons to the light troopers than the almost useless snap rifles. Keep them coming!

I've followed the rise of "The McGill" through the series, this installment is just as enjoyable as the previous. It would be great to see the Galactics bring Legion Varus into the core worlds and see what mayhem JM could find there.

Great book! Good work Mr Larson! To any sci fi reader out there - this author has a great idea and foundation for military sci fi and the books are easy to read. I would suggest this become a netflix series :)

I enjoyed the book. It is a fine mixture of action and comedy. Having been born and raised in Mcgill's circumstance I can relate to his quick reliance to the BS to get out of tough situations. Great job!
