After reading "Falling Into You" I was happy to know there was a parallel story. "Falling Into Us" is the story of Becca and Jason. Becca is best friends with Nell and Jason is best friends with Kyle in Falling Into You. Their story starts in high school, but goes in a different direction. Becca and Jason have their own personal issues to deal with individually and both suffer tragic losses, but through it all they have each other and they learn to love through it. I read this in a day and a half. Jasinda Wilder has the magic touch.

This book parallels another book. You don't have to have read it first to understand this book, but the fact that the author could do this and keep the story straight is pretty good. I lived the Sy a number of chapters picked up where the previous one finished but from a different persons perspective. It flows well and has a good story line....... But if your a woman who is not sure of her sexuality you might think you have failed yourself if you try to compare yourself to the main female character Becca.

The complete "Falling Into" series is excellent. The characters are all unique in their voyage to mature and fit in with the world with their heart rendering and hear warming stories. They are believable and you immediately can step right into their characters and relate, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR AGE. I am in my 70's and found these books as compelling and relatable as I would have in my twenties.

I loved this book! Jasinda knocked it out of the park again. I've had this book since last summer, but I didn't realize I had never read it until I was listening on Audible and the story wasn't familiar. Man was I missing out.
I love how this story tied into Falling Into You. How scenes we were already familiar with, reemerged to tie into Jason and Becca' s story.
I love how Jasinda can put tears in my eyes in the best of ways.

What an emotional yet amazing story. Falling into you was the first book that ever inspired me enough to write a review and can I just say Falling into us was just as inspiring. I love love loved Becca and Jason's story. I really enjoyed getting some closure in Nell and Colts story also. This book does not disappoint at all and NO cliff hanger!!! I could not have wished for a better ending to both Becca and Jason's story and Nell and Colts story. I thought Jason was truly amazing, what a wonderful young man - every girls dream man! Jasinda you have done it again, I can not give this book high enough praise...Thank you.

I loved this book. While I really wanted a continuation to Falling into You, I am in love with Falling into Us. I could not help falling in love with Jason and Becca, you witness the grow up from young teenagers to adults. Amazing how much they completed each other, their love for each other was pure. Through all the ache and pain and loss they never once gave up on each other. It's great story and has left me uplifted.

Truthfully...not what I expected...I thought it would have been a continuation of Nell's story...but what we got was even more amazing. I fell in love with the charaters. I loved the struggles that they went through..the reality of the issues at hand and how no matter what...the people in your life that you love and cherish...will always be with you..maybe not in the physical,,but in your heart and mind..you are never alone. This was a hard book emotionally for me to read because of similar life situations...and it just drives home the point, that even though people leave us...our memory of them is always imprinted on us!

Once again, Ms Wilder has done an amazing job with this storyline. I really liked the way that while it was parallel to Falling Into You, it told an entirely different story as well. I really like that Jason and Becca's story was not full of huge highs and lows and that once together as sophomores in HS, they worked through issues, took responsibility for their decisions, and deepened their relationship as they continued to adulthood.Definitely 5 stars!

Sometimes, despite my better judgment, I give a series or a writer a chance. I did that with these books, and I enjoyed the first book. The second book was not so lucky. It was still better than a lot of books out there, but it still had some serious issues that I found a bit less bearable this time around.
The grammatical errors were obviously evident in this book as well. Actually, they seemed more apparent in this one, which made the quality of this book feel even more diminished. I wish that the book had been better edited. Maybe if it had been, I would have had a more positive outlook on this book. Then again, maybe I wouldn't have.
Another thing that I had trouble with was that the writer didn't seem to have a good grasp of college football rules. If Jason was going to play college football with a full ride, he would have signed his letter of intent in January. He would have been practicing with the team starting around July. Then, when he was planning on going pro after college, he would have had to wait to meet with the pro teams until after his final season ended. The NCAA would have issued sanctions against any team that allowed their players to do meet with agents and stuff before then.
Wilder chose another pair of broken people. Actually, in some ways, this pair seemed more broken than Colton and Nell. Maybe that was due to the fact that not only did they go through the loss of Kyle, followed by the "breakdown" of Nell, and then the miscarriage that she suffered, they went through their own personal dramas. There was so much drama going on in this book that I felt like I was watching an episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager or One Tree Hill. I know that life can be dramatic, but this was excessive.
While Becca and Jason were pretty likable, I didn't like all the drama-llamaing. They were not realistic at all. Yes, some parents can be overbearing. Yes, some can be abusive. Yes, some can be either of these things because they had another child who was out of control or because they are disappointed with their own perceived personal failures, but it is just too much to have a girl, who stutters and has overbearing, overprotective parents who are so overbearing and overprotective because her older brother was a pain in the ass due to his bipolar disorder that he refuses to take medication for and uses drugs to medicate with, fall in love with a boy, who just so happens to be the best player of his football position not just in the state but nationwide throughout high school and college and who is so good because his father beats the crap out of him no matter what but gets away with it because he happens to be an uber-powerful chief of police in some podunk town in Michigan. Was that sentence too much for anyone to follow? Well, maybe that's a good thing because that gives you a good idea what the story is like. It gets even more dramatic as it goes along, and just like the previous book, the ending seems to come out of nowhere.
This book had the same issue of having the chapters that were way too long and that were tiring to read. Actually because this book seemed even more dramatic, those chapters seemed even more tiring to read. Unfortunately, that made me dread reading the book. Anytime that I dread reading a book, even if the content should be something I appreciate or want to appreciate, you can bet that I will not be feeling very warm and fuzzy to the book. That being said, it should not be surprising that I felt like this book was not enjoyable and I actually felt like the quality of this story was more punitive to the reader than anything else. The only thing I felt, other than the whole tired thing, after I finished reading this book, was that Wilder needs to get some professional help because the way that she treats these characters is completely sadistic. I worry about any future fictional characters that she might write about because it is clear that she enjoys to torture her fictional creations, which tortures her readers...and as masochistic as some of us might be, I would hope that most people are not that masochistic.
I cannot see myself recommending this book to anyone. If you enjoyed the first novel in the series, then I can't promise you will like this one. I certainly didn't. I'm going to be generous and give this book two stars instead of one.

Thank you Ms Wilder. I was a little apprehensive before reading this book, thinking there was no way you could come close to writing another book as good as Falling Into You. I was wrong. Jason and Becca's story beat all expectations. It's a truly wonderful love story. Heartbreakingly beautiful. The characters come alive on the pages. Their happiness makes you happy, when they cry, you cry. Very well written, totally wonderful book.

I wasn't sure what to expect because Falling Into You was one of those uniquely perfect books that are hard to measure up to. Falling Into Us manages to work on its own, and to work well.
Life can be hard, so hard, and Jasinda Wilder has a knack for writing about it without dramatizing it or glorifying awful things like premature death and mental illness.
Her books are both painful and beautiful to read. Highly recommend.

This book was pure sweet amazing Jasinda. She is able to connect to the reader in a way as an author I could only dream for. Becca is this sweet girl who falls for someone and stays in love with him even after all the crap she has to go through in life.
I loved falling into you so much I was moved so I did have big hopes. While I like relationship conflict or a love triangle (none of which is in this book) it still captivated me and left me wanting more. I can't wait to read more from this author even though I may be hungover for a few weeks ;)

I love this story. I think honestly my favorite part is that they are each other's first love at 16 and are together ever since. Neither of them consider cheating or leaving the other behind. It just never comes up. It's amazingly sweet and refreshing.
Every time I read anything Jasinda writes I just wanna ask her to marry me. She is just that amazing. Her writing is phenomenal and you become attached to the characters. Absolutely amazing.

Everything was too perfect, even the characters, somehow even their flaws were too perfect. This is the second book in the falling series. Both can stand alone, however this one really rounds out the first book nicely. It fills a lot of gaps and includes and epilogue for the first book. I recommend you read book 1 and 2 in order.

Omg Jasinda you have done it again. When I started it I was upset it wasn't about Nell and Colt but the more I read it the more I fell in love. I was so happy to read a book where there was no second guessing the love. And then bringing Colt and Nell in at the end and finishing their story was awesome.

This is the book that goes along side of "Falling Into You". For Becca and Jason the effects of having Jason's Best Friend die is the equivalent of having lost your dog. Becca's friend Nell (Kyle's best friend, neighbor, and the love of his life) is broken. Becca tries to help both Jason and Nell cope. Jason and Becca become closer than ever and Nell moves on in her own way. Very good book!

This story stirred my emotions. It was full of angst, insecurities, passion, grief and happiness. Oh, and did I mention lots of steamy hot sex between first loves. I thoroughly enjoyed his story and could really relate to the characters since I actually married my first love from junior high after a long courtship and we're still together 42 years later.

If you are interested in a great story that makes you really feel all the emotions the author writes about this book is for you. I loved how it was the same time frame as Nell's story but so different. Knowing what was coming and seeing it from Becca's perspective gives you a different perspective. I loved, loved this book. Now I'm diving into Falling Under.

Couldn't put this one down...well written story of overcoming, healing, and true love! I appreciate how Ms. Wilder always seems to include characters of a variety of races and ethnicities! Loved also the inclusion of how stuttering impacts one's life and the mention of how speech therapy plays a great role in its treatment ...I'm an SLP :)

Another 5 star book from the very talented Jasinda Wilder. I will buy every book written by her, so far every book I've read has been excellent. If you've read Falling Into You, you really need to read Jason and Becca's story. Jasinda knows how to draw out emotions in her writing, you feel every ounce of pain or joy in her characters. This is a highly recommended book from me!

Actually I was waiting for something similar to Falling Into You, however it was fine. I loved to know a little bit more about Nell and Colton. The story of this book was so perfect, what I mean is that it was way far from the reality intead of Falling Into You, although each of the main characters has its own internal battles they weren't as hard as Nell and Colton's.

I finished reading Falling into You and immediately started reading Falling into Us and didn't think it could surpass the first one but oh it so did!!! I loved Becca and Jason's story so much more due to the fact that their story was weaved around Nell and Colton's story so perfectly!! I laughed and I cried and I couldn't put it down!! This story was a little disappointing for me after reading "Falling Into You". I had trouble bonding with these characters for some reason. I had to keep making myself read so I could finish. It was probably just me.
I did like that we got some closure on Coulton and Nell's story.

Jasinda Wilder does it again. She captures the blissful highs of life and the soul wrenching lows also. She will wring tears from you while making you gasp and go back to reread the words that flung you there, unbelieving what just happened.
This book, 'Wounded' and 'Falling Into You' are equally brilliant. I will be eagerly looking forward to devouring everything else she has written.

This story just touched my heart. Loved the relationship from start to finish. The beginning of their love and how thru over time and years their love and trust was amazing! None of that misunderstanding or a third person trying to breakup them up. The sex was a.ma.z.i.n.g!!! HOT!! I truly believed the love and chemistry they shared. Wish there was another book to continue reading this amazing truly love story!

I really loved the first book about Nell, Kyle and Colton but this was another amazing love story of Becca and Jason. I love the way the author merged the first book with this one. Bringing the characters into it as well. I am hoping the next book (if there is another) will tell us the story of Nell and Colton. Great read and good series.

I thought that Falling into You was an amazing book, and completely feel in love with Nell and Colt and Kyle. This book by far blew the other out of the water. Falling into Us is an emotional roller coaster, even more so than the previous book. I wasn't prepared to fall head over heels for this book and let it consume my entire life until it was finished. This book will have you laughing so hard it hurts, and breaking down into sobs as your heart breaks for them. Its a MUST READ for sure. Also love love love that she uses music and a playlist for the book. Completely sets the mood and i love music when i read, so that was a huge bonus for me.

They are both struggling with there family and they get together. They are there for each other and help each out through all the challenges are there are plenty but good because it shows their strengths.

This one was not as good as the first unfortunately. I still had to finish it though. Even though it really was a VERY transparent plot with little to no conflict.
There is ALOT of sex in this one. I don't mind my hot n' heavy moments at all. But it felt like over kill in Falling into us.
The author is still very talented though. She writes pretty good books.
If you want a titillating read..then go for it. But there isn't much depth.

What an absolutely beautiful book, despite the sadness, heartache, young struggle and life. I loved Jason so much. What a strong man (not a boy, a man), even at the young age of 16. What a couple, what a romance, what strength, what...., I have no words. This was such a refreshing story. No cheating man whore boyfriend with a clueless, constantly forgiving girlfriend, just two people loving each other and growing together. Just WOW! I was also happy to see how Nell and Colt were doing and to see their growth from the eyes of Becca and Jason. I didn't have the same ache in my heart while reading this as I did when I read Falling Into You, where my tears were on the verge of spilling from the first page until the last, but I loved this book for a totally different reason, and felt joy and a sense of optimism after reading it. By the way, Jasinda, thank you for the postscript!

Just like the first book this one starts slow with about half of the book going back to high school to explain how Jason & Becca fell in love. It runs on the same timeline as book one, starting with Jason asking Nell out which prompts Kyle to come clean about his feelings for Nell. Jason is a hot young football star but has home issues - his father is the respected Police Chief but he is very violent & angry, taking all of his frustrations out on Jason. Becca is half Italian, a dark curvy beauty, smart beyond belief. Her father is overprotective & pushes her to excel. But Becca's real issue is her stutter which really made me fall in love with her. She is insecure about how she talks but has an instant connection with Jason and they quickly fall in love. The world around them has tons of drama, including Jason's terrible home life, Becca's brother's battle with mental issues & drugs, Kyle's accident, Nell's battle with serious depression and her involvement with Kyle's brother Colton, and yet Jason & Becca develop the most loving & strong bond. I worried throughout the whole book about when the hammer would fall & my heart would break, but as they deal with family issues & pain & friends who are suffering, these two continue to stay strong, leaning on each other. Becca is the strong but silent type due to her stuttering, and yet in the bedroom she doesn't hold anything back - she is definitely the aggressor & it is totally hot! Sometimes I think she uses Jason's body to help her feel better but hey, who wouldn't? We don't hear Jason complaining. :) There is one part of the story when Becca's family is shattered and she becomes completely withdrawn, even stops talking. Jason is so incredibly sweet & just reassures her, with words, with his love, with his body, that they will be together forever & he'll never leave her. Jasinda Wilder has an amazing gift for developing these wonderful characters with slight flaws that make you fall in love with them!

Jasinda this book is amazing. I can relate to so many layers of this story. I married my high school sweetheart and lost my brother to mental illness/suicide. It was like you opened a door to my life in a weird and strange way. I was so in love with Nell and Colton I couldn't image how Becca and Jason could fill a whole book. (My brother's middle name) They did and so much more. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

I really enjoyed the story about Jason and Becca until the end when it focused on Colt and Nell, the characters from the 1st book 'Falling Into You.' It made the story just drag on. It could of been split into a Book and a separate novella.

Jasinda has became one of my favorite writers. She is top notch with her writing skills. You get sucked into the book and can barely come up for air. I fell in love with this story and I loved the way she also gave us more of Colton and Nell. Falling into you and Falling into us are now two of my favorite books. I could read them over and over again.

Another very well written story! This is a second book in the series and tells another story from two characters in the first book. The stories are entwined but also can stand alone. I highly recommend both books Falling Into You and Falling Into Us. The love stories will touch you deep from both books and the love scenes are HOT!

Wow, this book sucked every ounce of my emotions from beginning to end. Jasinda has a talent that should not be ignored. EVERY one of her books has something special to it but this book and Falling Into You, left me speechless, holding my breath then laughing out loud. Definitely worth the 5 stars...plus more

I really enjoyed this book of Jason and Becca, and also happy that it weaved in Nell and Colton. This was a book with some wonderful poetry, but walks the reader through various types of loss, the different ways it is dealt with (or not) and young love.
Very touching story, had me in tears during several parts.

I really loved this book. Jason and Becca love story are great. It's great just as Nell and Colton. I laughed at some scenes and was sad at many others. Poor Ben. I'm glad the Jason and Becca finally had happily ever after. And Colton and Nell. Loved Benny he is too funny. However, I wanted to know what happen to Sasha

After reading Falling into You, and loving every minute of it, I was hesitant to read this one. I hadn't read any Jasinda Wilder books before FIY so I didn't want to ruin the good experience I had with a bad sequel. This was the farthest thing from that and all I can say is Thank You for writing it. I feel like I have closure for both stories.

Jason and Becca's story definitely had some plot twists and turns that I really enjoyed. Jasinda Wilder keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen with Jason and Becca during the course of their relationship. I liked how this book also showed some peeks at Cole and Nell's relationship. It was worth reading.
