8 Practice Tests + Proven Strategies + Online (Kaplan Test Prep)

I purchased this book twice. Once because I failed every single practice question in the book. The second time was because I wanted to review the information and try again after seeing what I did wrong. I failed most of the second tries again and decided to wing it on the actual Praxis test. I had absolutely no problem passing the Praxis test and I got fairly high scores. I'm not sure why I did poorly on all of the practice questions, but I'm pretty disappointed in the book even though I did pass the test overall. I really don't think this book helped me at all - it just stressed me out a ton.

I started out using a different book to prepare for my Praxis test and I ended up not passing the writing portion. After visiting my school's writing lab, I was recommend this book. The Kaplan book has an easy to understand layout. I liked how the book tells you things to look for that the test will try to trip you up on. Needless to say, I went from a 156 to a 182. I highly recommend this book.

For PRAXIS I, this was an excellent tool! I passed the test on the first try!!

As for PRAXIS II, this is NOT a good tool to study with. You would be better off using old textbooks that cover the relevant information.
