Sachin – Lead advisor to the king has a human Mate that after he mated her and realized what he’d done just left her. Until the Queen tell him to take a vacation and go to earth he has tried to forget her and what he did. He goes to earth only to find his one love (Paige) and finds out she is engaged to marry another. This is a wonderfully well written book with some nice action and some surprises in the end. And yes it’s got humor and every emotion in-between in this story.

Good story, however you could tell the author cut a lot of corners just to end it fast. The story is only 92% of the e-book, the rest is excerpts from the author and other authors e-books. There were only 2 sex scenes in the story, they were ok scenes, nothing great. This plot had a little twist I didn't see coming and I enjoyed it a lot. However, I only gave it 3 stars because of how the author cut so many corners just to end the story faster, VERY ANNOYING!

This was an unexpected turn for the storyline in my opinion. It was a great surprise. I thought we would just go through the brothers, but this is the story of the best friend and advisor. This story kept me interested and found it was an enjoyable read. I first read this through the box set which had the first three stories. Whether you read each one separate or together I found them definitely worth reading.

Sachin was drawn to Paige from the moment he lays eyes on her, covered in blood and terrified. He saved her because that was the only option he could live with.

He visited her for years at the safe house he had delivered her to. Their relationship flourished. When his feelings grew so strong he feared he could no longer hide his true nature from her, he disappears.

I would recommend

I am really enjoying this series so far. HOLY smokes talk about sexy alpha males. I never really thought much about bird shifters being all that sexy, but these shifters have had me thinking more then once that I was in need of a very cold shower. I can not wait to read the rest of the series and see what is in store for the remaining males and the females they must somehow claim as their own.

Just loved, loved, loved this book! Loved reading about Sachin and Paige. This is one book that keeps your attention from start to finish. I couldn't out the book down because I wanted to see what happened next. The book may be short and quick read but it packs a punch. Can't not wait to read the next book in the series. One of the best series I have read.

If you haven't given birdshifters a second thought then you need to get on board and this series is a good one to start with. This book has adventure, sex, love and a great storyline. You can read this book as a stand alone but I recommend you read Prince of Pleasure first. This is a great series and highly recommended.

I really liked this second book in the Bird Shifter Series I found Sachin to be a fun and interesting character in the first book, I enjoyed him even more in this one. He is smart, funny, has a protective streak a mile long and he loves fiercely. He is the perfect match for Paige. I think the complemented each other well, her feisty, tough, sensitive, and intelligent personality is the perfect balance for Sachin. I wish there was more to the story because it was awesome. I am eager to read more from this series.

Great follow up to the first book, great character development, and plot. mandy Roth does it again with a great paranormal romance. Wish it was longer but want a wonderful story and made for a fun night. I can't wait to read the rest of them.

Title: A VIEW TO A KILL
Series: King of Prey #2
Category /Genre: Paranormal Romance
Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content
Received from: Mandy M. Roth (in exchange for an honest review)
Grammar/editing: A – near perfect

This is the second book in the King of Prey series. Each does stand alone, but it is still best to read all and in the order of release.

I read the first book in this series back in December (and the fifth in November). I love Mandy Roth’s stories and I was very glad to receive this one for review as part of her review team.

In the first book, the king, Kabril, spends some time on Earth as a veterinarian as he woos his intended mate, Rayna. Sachin goes along as his roommate, when in fact he is the king’s advisor. Now we find out just how Sachin has come to gain so much knowledge of the people of the Earth realm. He is a man-whore with a kink for earth girls.

It turns out there is one in particular that he has been watching as she grows from frightened teenager (with a past that would terrify anyone) to a beautiful young woman. In the years that he has watched over her, he has fought the one truth that will give him peace. That girl, Paige Rapp, a human is his mate.

I loved Paige’s sass. When Sachin acts like a horse’s a@@ (as men sometimes will), she doesn’t make it easy for him to come crawling back. The chemistry is undeniable, but she isn’t ruled by her heart alone.

This was another quick, steamy, romance with an expected HEA. I have always loved a Mandy M. Roth story and this one doesn’t derail that sentiment. I’m looking forward to more …. And hope that I don’t have to wait 8 more months for more birdmen!

Sachin’s has found his mate. Paige is human and Sachin is a typical avian. He doesn’t realize that Paige is the one, he goes all out to avoid her. Sachin’s possessiveness and emotions come rolling out when he discovers that Paige is going to marry someone else. He almost stalks her to find out more about her relationship with this other man. I liked that Paige had some gumption and wasn’t afraid to show it.

The only thing of this story is that I wished it was a little longer. There could have been more details and more events of Paige and Sachin interactions to keep me intrigued.
