"Should?" Yes! here are the facts that many have suspected, yet not had confirmation of. Greer is a well acknowledged expert in the matters shared in this book. While the truth may have you feeling despair over your own inability to act, it nevertheless helps one understand why the "ordinary" citizen feels any effort to change things has no impact. On another level, it opens one's mind to to new possibilities that could be used in a positive, rather than negative way.

A personal account of Dr Greer's life changing experiences from a nine year old child through his transformation of consciousness by way of a near death experience. Dr Greer's life experiences make very interesting reading and his observations are very thought provoking and helped in a big way to change my worldview.
The most important ingredients however are the deep and infectious sense of wonder and curiosity he stirs in the reader.

Very reliable based on true information obtained from serious high ranking government’s employees who have worked in key positions inside CIA, US Army, US Air Force and other government agencies. Those testimonies make the facts reported in this book irrefutable. This book must be read for every serious UFO researcher who does not want be hoaxed by the innumerous tabloids articles present in Internet and in other medias.

This is the most comprehensive book I have ever read on the truth about UFO's. I read a great many Metaphysical books and have known for many years that we are not the only intelligent beings in the Universe. I applaud Dr. Greer for forming his organization and documenting the truth.

The only reason I can think of that governments have refused to be truthful about events that have occured is that they want to control the majority of the people with fear until they decide how to use the events to the governments advantage.

The people of this century are certainly intelligent enough to handle the truth if it is presented in a factual manor. We should be trying to find ways of working with UFO's instead of considering them as invaders. If someone could find a way to make money from working with UFO's I'm sure we would be inviting them in.

I wish everyone on the planet would read this book so they know what our government is capable of! Once you shine the light on them you can protect yourself. Don't buy into the scare tactics. Read this book and find out what their agenda is.

Excellent Book should be a top seller!! I totally believe in Dr. Greers work. Ive practice his CE-5 and had results. I'm a firm believer! There's enough edvience that we should all accept aliens are real and move on that we're not alone.

I enjoyed the speculations and witness accounts in Greer's first two books, so I was eager to read a more narrative version of the 'Disclosure Story.' I would *SO* love for even 20% to be true and representative of true encounters with alien beings or craft, but I'm still very much on the fence about this. I'm a skeptic at heart! Greer suggests in the book's introduction that much of what he writes will sound a "little crazy," but that it's wholly true. With that in mind, I tried to keep an open mind towards this book, and I soon decided that Greer was only half-right in his introduction. In fact, he comes across as almost completely, absolutely off his rocker. Let's ignore for the moment the book's efforts to integrate the reports and conclusions of Greer's first two books. Far more important is the reality that Greer seems to believe he lives in, a reality that bears a striking resemblance to the reality one might live in were they a high-functioning paranoid psychotic suffering from mania and delusions of grandeur. I've come to understand that he was once a "normal" guy, but he started losing it in ~2001. Some folks have speculated that he was hit some sort of mind-scrambling weapon. Whatever.

You see, Greer is a master of meditative techniques and can enter 'Cosmic Consciousness' at will, which is useful in his CE-5 Protocol, a method of inducing alien visitations via astral projection (the ETs can hear it, since they understand the Oneness of everything). That's right; his amazing powers allow him direct mind-to-mind communication with the aliens! His descriptions of his powers, techniques and outlook make him seem like a combination of Dr. Xavier from "The X-Men," and Elliot from "E.T." In his efforts to bring about government disclosure, and because he can communicate with aliens (and is protected by "spiritual warriors"), Greer becomes an object of derision and fear for the various agents of all-powerful Shadow Government. As such, these agents are always trying to convert him to the Dark Side, or work against him by trying to convert his teams/followers. It's so bad that The Shadow Government occasionally beams rays from electromagnetic directed-energy weapons into his body at night as he tried to fall asleep. Whoa. It's hard to understand why The Shadow Government folks don't just shoot the guy, if it's that important to them.

That he represents himself as the grand organizer of the "disclosure movement," is convinced that he is among Earth's ambassadors to the aliens and can talk with them and bring their ships here, and that he's always being hunted and cajoled and threatened by The Shadow Government leads me to believe that he has lost touch with reality. For one thing, he presents not a SINGLE SHRED OF TRUE EVIDENCE for even the most major of his claims about the nature of the phenomenon. Why not produced just a few extremely clear photos of the alien craft he can beckon to Earth, or do a CE-5 protocol in Washington, D.C. and cajole a craft to hover over the Washington Monument for the entire world to see? That would change everything here on Earth in a single moment. No, instead he makes completely wacky claims about his spiritual wisdom, supernatural powers (he can levitate, see the future and spiritually travel anywhere in the Universe), and the role of aliens in modern life with substantiating a single, solitary idea.

I tried to read this book and accept, even for a few hours, the reality that he presents. Unfortunately, I think he's entirely unconvincing, and probably legitimately mentally ill. All the alien stuff could be completely true, but please avoid this book at all costs if you're looking for a serious, sober study of the 21st century mythology known as "Aliens." The *Disclosure* book is much more worth your time and energy if you're interested in hearing tales about aliens that are at least semi-believable. However, keep in mind that even THAT book presents 100% ZERO evidence that any of the interviewees' claims are true. That's really the problem with the whole concept of aliens visiting Earth. Beyond things seen in the sky and easily-fabricated video footage of far-away glowing orbs, there's not a shred of real evidence. Just like God, the aliens ain't talkin'.

Also, he knows the Shadow Government cell that killed JFK and Marilyn Monroe. You see, JFK told Marilyn about the UFOs, and when she was rejected by the Kennedy brothers, she decided to go public. The SG guys killed her for her efforts, and eventually killed Kennedy too, because he was going to reveal the groovy secret power thing they had going.

Everyone on planet Earth should read this book. This book informs humans of the Truth and Knowledge that has been hidden from us. We are SO much more than we have been told. ALL of us have been lied to since childhood. We are capable of So much more, we are all ONE, together- with all others from other worlds and we should be much further alone spiritually, but have been held back by our leaders. Reading this book will make you angry when you find out just how much HAS NOT been told to you as to who you really are and your capabilities. This is a Real Eye-Opener. When I purchased this book l was interested in reading about information about ufo contacts. After reading this l became convinced that the author was paranoid and made some way out there comments about a secret government conspiracy out to get him and hide ufo contacts to the extent of creating faux Et spaceships and biologically creating fake Ets to scare the general population. I bought his book Contact at the same time. My son and I read it together while camping in the wilderness. After reading this book we were convinced that the author was running a cult following and his followers were worshiping the author. We couldn't take what the author had to say seriously any longer. It's too bad because I had a close contact with an ET back in the 70's and I was hoping this would she'd some light on the subject. I didn't want to give it any stars but picking one was required.

This is a book that will alter your perceptions. Be open minded. Aliens? Yes, but not as you think or have read about from the media. This is not major piece of literature, as Dr. Greer points out. It's put together from his notes, but the information will give you an amazing perspective from this founder of CSETI. This book was beyond excellent. It was well written and answered a lot of questions that I had about the ET's and the hidden government. It also gave me the information that I had been seeking about how to contact the ET's.

Dr. Greer relates the story about Col. Corso huffily asking the extraterrestrial "Who goes there" and "What do you want" and/or "What's in it for me?", and the answer was "A New World, If you want it!!" This fascinating happening and many others like it are yours for the reading of this fabulous expose book of why Dr. Steven Greer has been so persistant in wanting to tell this story of UFO's, their many contacts over the years, and their technology that would help our world get out of the "tough spots" we've managed to work ourselves into. Great reading. . . and so inspiring to have the confirmation we are all part of the eternal process on many dimensions . . . .

I am so sorry I wasted money.. on something, that is trying to cram their NewAge belief into people.
Not worth reading. I had hoped for some serious research into little known subjects.. instead I got a " lesson" on the " Great Oneness " and the " Creation and God being one".. and on and on. What a total waste of money and time.. do not bother !

I just finished reading the book and I thought it was an interesting and entertaining read, however I was troubled by the fact that Greer presents no hard evidence supporting his claims. I actually WANT to believe what Greer is saying. I want to believe that there are technologies at our fingertips that could change the world for the better. I want to believe there are benevolent extraterrestrials that watch over us. I want to believe that abduction cases (if true) are carried out by a shadow government. But I'm a weird sort of guy - I need to see PROOF before I believe these things. Testimony just doesn't cut it for me.

Greer claims to come in contact with UFO's at will using his famous "protocol", whatever the hell it is. All right Mr. Greer, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for the moment. So you have summoned UFO's on several occasions. Fantastic! But why is your book not flooding over with photographs of these events? Not ONE photograph! Or did it never occur to you that if you caught these UFO's on camera, everybody in the world would believe you? I suggest in your next meeting, bring a camera and take some pictures - just to humor those of us that need to see them.

Greer also claims to have met with several high profile people in government and the media (many who are conveniently deceased) and having provocative conversations with them regarding the subject. Again, no verification or support of most these conversations. Why should we believe him?

As soon as I see the evidence, my review for this book will get bumped up to 5 stars.

Perhaps the most important question regarding the book: If there is indeed a secret rogue government armed with technology that is beyond our wildest imagination and this group will do ANYTHING to remain secret, as Mr. Greer suggests, why was his book allowed to be published?

Think before you make up your minds, people!

I was looking forward to some real revelations about the UFO mystery in this book. However, I had no idea that Steven Greer was a New Age "guru" who could levitate himself, communicate with the aliens at will, foresee the future, and miraculously cure others of serious diseases! Sounds like a "Jesus (or "Avatar") complex" to me, as I know of no human who can do such things. Furthermore, he claims in Chapter 15 that he met with CIA Director James Woolsey to educate him on UFO matters. Greer claims that: "During that meeting, we discussed everything he wanted to know. And I told him why the extraterrestrials were here, and I explained why this was being kept secret. And I explained exactly what should be done to fix the problem." (page 110). If Greer truly knows all these things, then the UFO mystery would no longer be a mystery. It seems to me that he is simply trying to draw information from other people by claiming to be some sort of UFO expert. I'm afraid that I cannot take someone seriously who is so deeply into astral projections, out-of-body experiences, ghosts, prophecy, levitation, etc, as is evidenced by his own admissions in this book.

In the cosmos all is in deep harmony, love and freedom are presented in life, not utopia. For more than 40 years i do know that rate of return in human capital ( x1) is higher than in physical capita ( x2). 10000 my former students did promise me that they will invest much more in X1 than x2, but a very few did not fail. As parents and teachers i can verify that it is not so easy to change current paradigm. I. Prigogine has tried to introduce the new, better paradigm, but it is very hard task.
What is main reason for our failures?
30 years ago i have discovered that dishonest and unknowledgeable people are much better self-organized than opposite one. Why mafia does know much better to reprocess and restructure elements and operation than persons with higher moral and intellectual capital?
S. Greer is very close to help us, but we should read his book, share it with as many as possible and we will create society where we will be in harmony with ourselves and ET civilization.

This is a fascinating and intriguing book. I do have to warn you as the reader, you have to have an extremely open mind to read this though. Most of Dr. Greer’s ideas, concepts, and beliefs are very hard to believe; sounds more like something out of science fiction novels and TV shows. But whether you choose to believe in ET’s or any kind of conspiracies, I found a couple of interesting questions after reading this book. Why would so many high level government officials, corporate executives, and researchers interview with him and discuss this information as well as push for disclosure? Can they all be crazy? Read this book and think for yourself. Despite your conclusions, I applaud Dr. Greer for concluding with what we as a human race are capable of if we put our barriers and beliefs aside to focus on building a better more peaceful world with a desire to explore the cosmos and more.

I first discovered Stephen Greer through my husband having his CE-5 app...and through the Unacknowledged documentary from last year. I wanted to know more and here it is. An excellent addition to the Vedas I am reading now. Very interesting stuff.

Before writing this review, I did read many of the other reviews posted on here. The first thing that I want to say to anyone considering reading this book is that it would be very helpful if you first watched the National Press Conference on UFO's that was broadcast in 2001 (I think you can google this). After that, you should purchase (or borrow) the Disclosure videos. There are 2 sets - an abbreviated one and one that includes greater detail, more testimony, more witnesses. You cannot watch this testimony (from sworn witnesses that include former National Defence personnel, CIA staff and other credible witnesses with first-hand accounts of what they saw, read, were involved in, told to 'keep quiet' etc.) and dismiss it. It is these materials, otherwise known as the 'Disclosure" materials that form the basis of Steven Greer's work. You can also read transcripts, see copies of official documents and so forth in the written materials.

Comments on this book from folks who haven't seen the full Disclosure materials should be taken with a grain of salt as it is very easy to let incredulity over Steven Greer's own self-discosures obscure the actual content and intent of the book.

I am a long-time meditator but in fact I clearly remember what I was like before I started meditating or being interested in 'consciousness'. I thought everyone who was 'into' that sort of thing flaky or deluded. So if you have read this book and think Dr. Greer is a flake, I can totally understand why. At the same time, you have to remember several things. It is usually those individuals that are very grounded in the 'spiritual' that have the fortitude to proceed with their mission even when at great personal risk. I am not necessarily making comparisons, but Martin Luther King Jr. had had deep personal spiritual experiences which gave him the impetus to proceed with his civil rights work, fearlessly. He couched his experiences within a Christian framework so they may not have seemed so 'out there' to those that knew about them. Ghandi was another gentleman who practiced daily mediation and could access 'higher states of consciousness' and this 'otherworldly' strength gave him the fortitude to take on British Colonialism with inner peace and strength as his mantle. Steven Greer gets his strength from his near-death experiences and his meditation practice. This sounds flaky to those of you who are not familiar with these techniques. As a person who wishes to remain firmly grounded and sane in my own meditation practice, I am aware that people CAN lose their 'sanity' if they get too lost in altered states of consciousness and that being firmly grounded is the only way to operate in this world effectively. I would say that it appears to me based on the body of the work, the coherence of it, the evidence in the Disclosure materials, Greer's own successful medical practice, the support of his family, friends and contacts, that he may be a man who has successfully taken the insights and experiences from his spiritual practice, grounded them and used the inner strength to propel this mission of sharing the truth about the UFO phenomena with others.

As I read this book, I myself cannot help but wonder: well, how do I know that even THIS is true? There is so much out there, so many stories, so much documentation etc etc that all makes a certain amount of sense when you read it. Why should this be any truer than anything else? One way of answering this question is: follow the money. If it is coming from transnational business, big corporate media, big pharma, etc etc, and having you believe this or that thing means more money for someone, you may suspect the findings. Greer does not appear to be doing this for personal financial gain. He MUST have an ego strong enough to plow on in the face of repeated difficulties. I do not believe he is disclosing his spiritual practice to be some sort of 'guru' figure, but to rather explain how he came to be involved in this. I for one have been waiting to read his life story for years and although there was a part of me that thought 'oh oh, everyone is going to think he is a flake after reading this and therefore discount all his previous work' the rest of me thought 'oh, now this all makes sense'.

So, my final word on this would be in order to have a really credible opinion of this book, you have to carefully peruse the rest of Greer's 'Disclosure' materials. In order to fully understand the genesis of the Disclosure materials, you need to read this book. The main message that Greer is trying to convey is that even though this contact is happening, that it is being distorted by the powers that be, we need not be afraid nor allow others to instill fear in us. We can, at any moment, turn it around and, as a human race, work with the intelligence that we have been given to have a better world.

Actually 4 1/2 stars. Very interesting and provocative. The first and last sections of this book were devoted to mediation and the esoteric world of the afterlife and spiritual evolution. Well presented whether ones believes in this sort of thing or not. Worth a look and does not detract too much from the basic thesis of extraterrestrials; who they are and what it is all about.

Fairly well written but for a book about disclosure most of the individuals talked about are not identified except by abbreviations. Interesting concepts and ideas about ETs. Good use of other UFOologists and how the government and "Shadow" government has covered up the UFO and ET phenomena. Do they exist, and if so why do they not manifest themselves more readily? Dr. Greer answers these confounding questions in a lucid and well explained way. The sections on the Shadow government are very interesting and worth a look. Does it exist? Well read the book and make up your own mind.

All in all OK for that summer vacation although at times a little heavy in the mental and lite in the action. Not your romance kind of book, be ready to think and analyze.

This book "Hidden Truth: Forbidden Knowledge" written by Dr. Steven M. Greer is an eye opener. It documents his personal life accounts and experiences with the Star People and their Star Crafts (UFO's is what we call them.) The documented testimonials from many high level USA Government officials and military people from all over the world are amazing to hear. I highly recommend that You read this book and decide for yourself...if it is the truth? I for one believe it is....and the Sirius Film to be released soon, end of 2012 or in 2013, by Dr. Greer and his research team that will tell us all the Truth about the many decades of cover up and dis-information told by the Cabal to the general public about this subject.

As an individual who has some personal experience with the subject of UFO's and all the possibilities that go along with this phenomenon, I find it difficult to believe some of Dr. Greer's stated experiences and opinions. For those people who are knowledgable in the 70 year old UFO story, many of us have found his story to be is off the chart in his personal characterization of his (saucer people connection). In finding the truth about this great and vital relationship between humanity and the extraterrestrial visitation of, at least the last 70 years, it has become a great and long detective game. Yes, there are people who know the truth or parts of the truth, and yes, they are not talking. But Dr. Greer's story would make him appear to be like a demi-god with all the knowledge of the universe. I, personally, do not believe that any one man has has reached this level, as described by Dr. Greer.

This book should be read by anyone interested in looking outside the "box" of ideas we have been taught to believe. Dr. Greer brings to light the long hinted at secret activities of those who have been really running the show.Time to wake up, time to take back our power, folks. This man has sacrificed his life to bring this information to light. Please don't assume he is a nut, his information is being validated in many places. You will be blown away.

please, please invest in this book! An interesting correlation I find:If you have read any of Kevin Trudeau's books and what he has to say about the complete corruption of our food supply and our continuous chemical feed from "big pharma," is of interest to you, you will want to read this book. to me it is a part of the same thing...a certain percentage of the world (powerful, wealthy, generally white men)would like to do our thinking for us, medicate us to the point of numbness, and constantly keep us in fear of "them." (now "them" are the aliens.) You do have to ask yourself why all the media outlets use frightening images and storylines in relation to ufo's, and why there is no longer a balance in any of these stories. When watching the movie "Signs" who besides me felt a grievous wrong was done at the end of that movie? Why doesn't that sit right? Is it because in our hearts we know there is propoganda behind it? That "they" are not evil beings just waiting to do us in? That a warring mentality is being pumped into us? Please remember: "nothing unites like a common enemy"...don't think the men who run things don't know this all too well. just look at 9-11. (still so much we don't know) who wants us to unite and why? The message in this book feels good, and right, and gives hope. But then I guess all deep truths do when you hear them. An absolutely courageous man who indeed needs and deserves support.
Please chew on this for a moment when reading the reviews that say Dr. Greer is in it for the money: with all the knowledge he has (from quoted, reputable men and women in the army, navy, intelligence,etc...and he gives names)couldn't he just as easily have written a great sci-fi book and not have brought all this (read to see)upon himself and his family and loved ones by invoking the wrath of these powers that be? Do not be alarmed, do not be herded like sheep, nor opiated by the media. Think deeply instead...if there are other people (words are used to frighten, like "aliens" "extraterrestials") who exist elsewhere and have had the means for generations to travel intergalactically, something we ourselves cannot do, why in hell do they just want to "blow us up", or "take our stuff" ? Does it really make sense to you? Again, please read! And buy a copy for someone else who has a free thinking mind...

We all need to educate ourselves with many different views before coming to our own conclusions about what the truth really is. Dr. Greer has dedicated his life to digging out what he has found to be the truth. Our job is to simply read about his findings in this sobering, shocking and frightening book. The subject and reading style is compeling and easy to stay enthralled during the entire book.

I believe we all need to use this great book along with other information to arm ourselves about what is really going on in our country and the world. Be part of the solution, or you are part of the problem. We have a responsibility to ourselves, our families and the future of America and humanity itself.

At last, a well-written and highly informative book that tells the WHOLE story on what is really going on here in connection with Human/Extraterrestrial Contact and World Governments. 'Hidden Truth, Forbidden Knowledge' is a 'Must Read' for all serious researchers, and also for those who just want to know the truth behind this subject, and what is happening behind the scenes world-wide. My whole family has had Contact Experiences with the Greys, including a number of ongoing, conscious and very lucid Encounters by one of my children some years ago. With no previous understanding, knowledge or even interest in this strange phenomenon, I was caught in a very scary and dark place at the time, not knowing where to turn to for help. I then started reading up on the subject to try to get a handle on what was really going on. Most of the books only made matters worse, and seem to me to be influenced too much by misunderstanding, and the Writers's own inner fears, conflicts and in some cases, out-right prejudices - the 'good aliens' versus 'bad aliens' scenario, which to me is just too simplistic. Several books however stand out as truly helpful and have given me the needed information, understanding and inner growth to break through the Fear Barrier and reach Love on the other side. This, to me, is the greatest Gift any human being can be given. These books include 'Connecting the Dots' by Poala Harris; 'Awakening' by Mary Rodwell; 'Abduction- Human Encounters with Aliens', by John Mack; and 'Looking Through Eyes of Love', by Judy Carroll. Now Steven Greer's 'Hidden Truth, Forbidden Knowledge' will be added to my list of 'Must Read' books for anybody seeking the real truth behind the Human/ET Encounter scenario.

The secret more tightly guarded than the Atom Bomb is revealed! Not only have we been visited by other-worldly people, but we now have technologies which could give mankind zero-point energy and the ability to roam the stars. Guarded by very powerful special-interest groups that maintain the status quo for big oil and military contractors, technology is here that could save this planet. Hi there,

At first, i had the impression that the author was at least crazy. A lot of the concepts that he mentioned were, to say the least weird; had he said that he saw a flying pink panther would'nt make feel diferent. However the next section on conspiracy theory about UFO's was so inspiring, that i thought contacting him to give him some editing advice, to remove parts of the first section to give more credibility to the text. The last section was really nice it was really enlighting and apeasing . The last section was reflecting the 'nectar' or resume of a big part of my spiritual quest.

One the whole i told my children, you know when you asked me before whether UFO's were for real and i said i don't know; NOW i know .

Keep on the good work Dr. Greer, but do not forget that everybody can be deceived.

This book is packed with incredible information! I have read it twice because there is so much to soak in. I also recommend checking out Dr.Greers Disclosure Project, CSETI organization and any other books or classes given by him. My husband and I took a week long class with Dr. Greer through CSETI and it was no doubt the real deal! It was a life changing and humbling experience in a beautiful way. Once you get into this book you probably won't be able to put it down!

I loathe to finish Greer's "Hidden Truth" because it's just that good. His life experiences, coorborated by many, openily; are absolutely stranger than fiction and any enlightened truth that I've ever had shared. The reality he encompasses and writes about is truely fasinating and extraordinary.

The potential he sets forth for mankid is riveting and beyond the broadest imagination....if we can take it..... while the present reality he relates in this auto-biography is "mind-blowing" in both positive and very negative ways. If you want to better your understanding of the relationship between levels of consciousness and third-diminisional reality (and technology/the rulers thereof) or if you really want some current and real info on ET's and their agenda read this book.

You might just be interested in knowing who orchestrates our society and the geo-political reality in which we live (in simple and direct terms not just broad names and labels of groups).

It's hard to find good information about a subject that provokes so much ridicule, fear, bias, and is so widely misunderstood. I have been following Greer's work for 5 years now and this book puts everything into perspective. I have searched the internet far and wide for anyone who has good debunking information. No one will touch him. They instead focus on straw man arguments and debunk the ridiculous low-hanging-debunker-fruit of UFOlogy. That and the fact that he has hundreds of verifiable witnesses (I am personally connected to a couple through a friend at NASA) makes him bulletproof.

So before you scoff at the book, I would ask you to ask yourself a series of really honest questions about why you think this is nonsense. Ultimately you will have to resort to emotional or intellectual dishonesty in order to massage this information into your paradigm that the world is flat (meaning we are alone in the universe).

Dr. Greer brings to Light the reality of existence with a background in medical science and a spiritual perspective that opens the doors to a "New World". Through his courage and sharing each reader can find his-her own individual understanding and enlightenment. With knowledge the people of this beautiful planet can become one and unite openly with our off-world family without fear and bring about the "Kingdom of God on Earth." The human race must realize that the gifts our off-world family are offering are precious and all humans have to do is let go of their fears and accept the unconditional love being given--it is indeed a "New World--if you can take it!" This book is a mixed bag. The writer apologizes at the beginning for the lack of editing - it certainly needs to be cut down by a hundred pages or so because Greer tends to waffle on and a competent editor could have put this material into categories instead of endless pages of Greer's random thoughts.

Having said that, there is some riveting material here. How Greer came to be in the UFO field in the first place, how his boyhood sightings and extraordinary experiences set him on the path to the Disclosure Project. How he took up TM and evolved his own meditation techniques; and how he spent three years at the Bahai HQ in Jaffa, Israel. Some of the most extraordinary descriptions are of encounters with huge ships which appear when he goes into meditation in remote places, often in the company of others who experience the same encounter. He tells how in England, at one of the newly created crop circles, one of the party he was with started to freak out and the ship simply backed away.

Greer is obviously a remarkable, talented and courageous individual and he makes an excellent job of convincing me that we do indeed stand on the threshold of a new era. He lists some of his contacts, including the CIA Director, officials around President Clinton and late Laurence Rockefeller. Some of this material has been taken from his earlier books and given a personal spin and they stand as a testament to Greer's amazing ability to tap into top military/defence/corporate sources over the years some of which defies a normal explanation. Greer's thesis that there is a shadow government made up of corporate entities and government and corporate personnel, excluding the US president, is only too convincing.

He lists some of the shadow technology which this rogue group is keeping under wraps, most of it to do with free energy systems, saucer technology; others to do with technology which interfaces with consciousness. He explains how no one, nowhere on the planet, can evade the probes of this technology ! He gives his own hair raising experiences on the receiving end of psychotronic devices which access the astral plane (or dream plane) which I would suspect would drive most people insane. Greer is made of strong stuff and is able to rise above these attacks due to his spiritual attainment and knowledge. He also details how the military reacts to the ET factor, usually in a hostile mode with EM weapons.

What bothers me are the "waffle" parts of the book - and there are a lot of these - where Greer seems to go into free flow, stream of thought mode and, oh dear, does this need an editor ! Into this mix, Greer drops passing bombs about secret technology which the "rogue group" allegedly possesses which can render them invisible, able to fly faster than light and teleport themselves. I started to tire at this point.

The real problem I have is Greer's insistent cry that the "downside" of contact with extraterrestials is a government/corporate operation which has unlimted resources to perpetrate hoax abductions and keep the myth of abduction/for nefarious breeding purposes going. He tells how writers who want to pursue this line of investigation are offered huge advances; how one abduction researcher was on LSD most of the time he was with Greer at the Rockefeller estate; how this same researcher conducted his interviews on LSD.

I find the parts of Greer's book which have to do with his adamant denial that negative encounters are solely due to special govt. sponsored abduction units able to maniplate time and space to be disturbing and I start to wonder about him ... "methinks, he does protest too much" comes to mind. Greer comes across as an idealist and a very remarkable individual who has psychic/spiritual awareness far beyond most. He sees himself as a leader and pioneer in this welcoming of the extraterrestial civilization to our darkening world. Already, time is short. A week long training, including a two nighter out in the wild, only costs about $800 so Greer is not in it for the money which he claims he desperately needs. He says that the scenario of the elites or illuminati setting up false and negative encounters with the phony Et's is on the cards.

I still have to make up my mind about all of this. It is yet one more twist in a phenomenon which has been around for a very long time and has twisted and turned in a lot of unlikely directions. I am sure there are quite a few to go before we can truly see clearly. Jacques Vallee where are you ? !

I fully and without reservation reccommend that every person who wants

the truth on UFOs and the connection with our own military, in other words, the secrets behind their existence, be sure to read this book.

Dr. Stephen Greer, the author, writes so straight forward and to the

point that you feel it must be the truth. He also tells a lot about his

own personal life, and makes you feel close to him, a friend. I heard

Dr. Greer on Coast to Coast AM, the national and world wide radio talk-

show for at least the past 10 years or more and had already come to trust

his word and this book did not let me down. It kept me interested through

each and every page and I was sorry when the book ended. READ THIS BOOK!

I really had no faith before this book. Not really sure what I should of beleived. But this book def changed my point of view and it is shocking! Eveything just seemed ot come together and to me it just makes complete sense and I feel that this book is entirely true. It would be great to see the world come together in world peace if they only knew the truth. I knew the government covered stuff up but I had no idea to the extent they would goto to keep their undreground society such a secret and ruthless and would stop at nothing. He doesn't say it straight out but the way it is described protrays this secret rogue group to be the illumnati with unlimited funding to carry out their evil intentions. Greatest book I ever read

this is my first steven greer book, and the reason i am giving 4 stars and not 5 its because the book gets very personal, you can almost say that this is a biography of dr. greer's life and if you havent read anything about him you find out the things he tell you as he goes along with his story, but its quite an amazing story and its really a eye opener to a lot of subjects and gives you a new perspective of how the american government works in regard to the ufo issue, and it gives you a whole new perspective to the ets themselves.. a really amazing one. i really recomend everyone reading! its worth the money

I've been interested and excited about the UFO-phenomenom since I was 15-years old. And my faith that there are extra-terrestial beings who are coming outside of our planet, has never faltered. However, I've been reading all kinds of books that are filled with disinformation about ET's, some unbeknown to the authors, some by design. The whole disinfo thing has started to deeply disgust me, and the truth has become harder to see thru the ocean of lies and deceit. This book is exactly what I've been looking for, this book is the real beacon of light! The truth resonates thru it from the moment you start reading it. It's like the first time when you saw the movie The Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, all over again!

Yes, Greer really describes the ET's like they are coming out of some new-age fantasy, but hey...the most of the sentient beings in the universe, who have achieved interstellar flight capabilieties, probably are absolutely bening and enlightened. A man is probably one of the worst monsters in the universe. And all of what Dr.Greer says, goes very well with what Robert A.Monroe says about his out-of the body travels and the beings of an ethereal kind. Greer suggest that many of the aliens are somewhat ethereal kind, and one just don't evolve on that kind of vibrational level, by being violent, selfish and murderous. I would also recommend readers to check out the excellent DVD by David Sereda, called EVIDENCE:The Case For NASA UFOs. In that, one can really see the types of UFOs, that Dr.Greer is describing in his book. This is the book on UFOs, disinformation and cover-up that you should own.

With this book, I think Greer catapults himself into the front ranks of credible New Age leaders. I read his previous work "Disclosure" several years ago and wondered how a country doctor could get the attention of such high level scientists and military people, much less get them to reveal top secret information about UFOs and reverse engineering of alien technology. It turns out that Greer is a natural and highly gifted practitioner of higher states of consciouness, remote viewing and astral travel. This is combined with a sane and rational approach to practical issues and the fearlessness of a Samauri. The book's conversational writing style made me feel like I was there as it describes meetings with Laurence Rockefeller, former CIA Director James Woolsey and numerous Congressmen and military officials. Most interesting were Greer's meetings with people in the Shadow Government and their endeavors to entice him to their agenda. When they were unsuccessful, many attempts were made to silence him, including giving him, as well as a close associate and a supportive congressman, cancer, all in the same short time period. Greer reports discovering information about rogue Star Wars plans to fake an alien invasion of earth. The intent is to unite the world around "Big Brother and a global corporate-military junta". The master plan, formulated many years ago, called for the Cold War, to be followed by the War on Terrorism and finally the "War of the Worlds". Dr.Carol Rosen, former head of Fairchild Industries and spokesperson for Werner Von Braun in the last years of his life, is on record as saying she attended meetings in the 1970s where the Gulf War was being planned. Greer says a worldwide psy-ops program is now being orchestrated to instill fear of ETs through staged abductions using ARVs(Alien Reproduction Vehicles), drugs and advanced electronic mind control weapon systems; cattle mutilations and media disinformation. He writes, "I have interviewed numerous people in classified projects who have been on the abduction squads...". This book is 300+ pages of pure dynamite. If you want to know what has been going on behind the scenes and what the future holds(Greer reveals his remote viewing of possible events along our collective time-line) don't pass this book up.

This is a very interesting book, written by a guy who has clearly devoted his life to helping others. Content aside for a moment, this is not an area you research lightly. I know from my own work on Remote Viewing that working in this area can make you about as popular as a rattlesnake in a lucky dip.

Some of the early part of the book concerning actual contact, I found a little difficult to relate to; but only because I have never personally experienced these things. It does not diminish my belief that the Author has experienced these things.

Overall I really enjoyed the book and I look forward to a time when full disclosure of the facts known regarding extra terrestrial intelligence can take place.
