This book seems to be just filler for the series..... I have read all the books and I was very disappointed with this one . What was the point of this story line???? It does not advance any of the stories at all. Ben is still a ghost and River a half blood. Hope the next book has more development to what happens to the Jinn, the bloodless and Ben and River. Waste of time and money skip this book....

I have read every book written by Bella Forrest and enjoyed each one. I enjoyed this one as well however I became frustrated when the majority of the story was about Julie and the blood creatures. It felt like 80 percent of the time was spent on her unpleasant storyline. Blah I am bummed!

I love Bella Forrest however, half of this book is focused on Aisha and Julie. Being that everyone wanted a longer Ben and River story, I felt the author just started to throw ideas together to make it longer to prolong their happily ever after. So to me the book wasn't my favorite. It was good but it wasn't great.

My wife reads these books. Every wife should be discouraged from reading this series. Since reading these books my wife expects me to have chiseled abs, a mysterious demeanor, and occasionally bite her neck! Bella Forest really needs to take a page out of George R. R. Martin's writing strategy and take 500 years to write the next installment.

In all seriousness I have no idea if these books are good. All I know is that my wife loves to read them and uses my the store account to purchase them.

this was a twist did not expect it ..mainly julie and aisha have to admit was waiting for aisha to kick her butt...i think it is sad when any of the witches dies and those bloodless vampires they are some mean dudes...i was glad for ben that he found a way to feel (cant give it away to the people who havent read this book yet) and river seems such a sweetheart and cant wait to hear her version of the hunters kidnapping who apparently are much more advance than when adain was a hunter...still feel for his lost from previous book...did not hear about vivianes baby.. this time around but did about jeremiah...great to know that derek is going to return to his "normal" self.....got to love claudia she will always be a great character..so much is going on with this book at first i will admit it was hard to keep up especially where julie was concerned and those bloodless but it did not last long before being so enticed that i stayed up half the night to finish the book reading from start to finish...i love a book that i can't put down regardless off the time of day or night and this was totally a book that kept the mind going...to be honest i think this book was one of the most intriguing of the ben series so far... basing this because so much is going on but yet it was not over powering that you could not keep up...much more details in this story...extremely well written great job bella
