What can I say except that Bella Forrest has done it again. I could not put the book down I wanted to get to the end but also did not want it to end. I can not wait till the next book to see what is in store for Queen Trina and it was a shame about the other Kings. I am sure that there will be an amazing and happy ending but getting to that point has been exciting and thrilling at the same time.

I am addicted to the works from this author. Every book leaves you wanting more. The story lines are interesting and keep you reeled in. I pre-purchase the next book just as soon as I can. My only complaint for this book was, I was reading along on my kindle and bam! The end of this book. I was so enthralled that it caught me totally off guard.

This series has me completely obsessed! Every one a cliffhanger but not long to wait for the next installment. I can't wait to see what the entity has in store for Nevertide and possibly other realms as well. The suspense is great and the emotional bonds to the characters draws you in and doesn't let go.

This book is so exciting! When you think you have things figured out, the rug is pulled out from underneath you in the most dramatic, heart pounding way! In this book we discover what it's like for Hazel now that she's a Sentry, and a sort of forgotten, deliciously evil character comes back to throw a wrench in Hellswan's kingship battles! We discover a nasty truth about a fan favorite character'set connection to the Alcolytes, and Queen Trina somehow, someway manages to get even worse. Bella's imagination is on an impressive display here and I cannot imagine what's in store for us in ASOV 39!!!

This is one of Bella’s more suspenseful reads of this series (series five). My favourite kind! I have not been so enthralled by a Shade book since we were in bloodless Chicago! I feel that with each season we are lead through a series of twists, turns, mysteries and adventures. These all build up and hurdle towards an exciting, dramatic and chaotic ending, where all the pieces start to finally slide into place with a big bang! Bravo!

There is a lot going on in this book, but I am going to try and do a brief overview as it really has to be read to do it the justice it well and truly deserves!

Queen Trina is becoming more malevolent by the second. An enemy of our gang returns to Hellswan and the kingship of Hellswan is worryingly up for grabs. The emperor trials become more and more dangerous and we lose a good hearted characters along the way.

Hazel struggles to contain her thirst around everyone, putting a strain on her relationship with Tejus. Secrets are revealed about the Acolytes, one particularly surprising. Amongst the bad we get a good reunion and GASP are getting closer to the mystery that is Nevertide. Very close indeed!

We are left with a shocking ending. One where, try as hard as you may, no matter how many times you try to turn to the next page, you have to finally and sadly admit you have reached the end. The waiting game begins again. But it’s so worth it!

I feel like a bad Shaddict for not having written a review in close to 30 books--typically I don't start a series until it has been completed so I don't have to wait in between. I've been with ASOV since the beginning--took a LONG break somewhere around books 7-9 thinking the story was close to completion so imagine my shock when I came back to read the first several again and had big plans to read the rest of the installments to something like 24--now I read and impatiently wait for the next one to roll out! Bella I can't thank you enough for this series and I seriously hope it never ends, each month there's a new installment to look forward to!

Tejus, I love his character *sigh*
The battle is still on to save all of Nevertide against the Entity, and it's dark followers are relentless to see them rise to full power and to what end against a small few.
Will her parents and the rest of GASP be able to save them all from the dark forces rising!?
I'm gritting my teeth and on edge of my seat, there just is not enough pages to satisfy my need for wanting more.

One of my favorite series! I've been reading this series since the beginning and let me tell you that even if you start with book 1 today, it will not take you long to get through the series. Even with 39 books. It is so addicting and definitely a page turner! Everything is nicely balanced in this series. Action, romance, suspense, thriller, mystery and more in this series. My only complaint is that it seems as if this this series (a Dawn of Guardians) has much smaller books than the rest. Or at least the last 3 that have been released are. I wish Ms. Bella Forrest would lengthen them a little, or at least try to make the next ones a little more lengthy.

Another fast paced episode that will leave you searching for more pages! I could not believe I was at the end already! These books seriously need making into TV series’. And the queen of cliffhangers strikes again! Need book 39 already!

Wow, what a page turner! So much happened in this book and I couldn't put it down! My favourite character is finally back and I'm hoping he will feature again in the next book! I have a feeling that what happens next is going to be amazing, the build up to this moment has been intense! Can't wait to find out!

I love this series. However, was a bit disappointed with this book. Book 37 left you with the anticipation of the next book. This book didn't deliver and didn't resolve anything from book 37. It felt like filler content dwelling too long. I can't wait for the next book, though. I want some action and faster forward movement.

Excellent series. Bella Forrest does a wonderful job of detailing the characters and explaining enough of everything that I think someone could pick up the series at any of the books and not be lost. BUT if you do it be forewarned you will be wanting to read the whole series then!!

Once I started reading I couldn't stop. Bella did it again, she never fails to captivate her reader in her story. This was a great continuation of Hazel and Tejus's story in Nevertide. I really liked that we saw a broader variety of character perspectives including Rose, Hazel, Ruby, and Ash.

* *SPOILER* *

I did not expect the end with the destruction Nevertide. A great book! The cliff-hanger ending regarding the state of Nevertide as well as the consequences from the attempt to open the portal left me with a lot of new questions. I wish I could read book 39 now! If you love A Shade of Vampire read this book! If you haven't read Bella Forrest's A Shade of Vampire series I recommend you give it a shot with the first book.

Another great read by Bella. These books keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time I am reading them. There are so many twists and turns and so many sides to the whole story I can't wait to read the next book.

Been reading Bella Forrest series, since last year. I hate to finish reading one book, then have to wait for the next book to come out within the next either few days or weeks to find out what happens. You do get caught up in the story line.

Unable to tear myself away from this ongoing story since Book 1. It is captivating and I am amazed how the author can keep creating more supernaturals and creatures unheard of which in turn keeps these stories going.

The first series of books in the series were okay. I kept reading hoping for an ending. The last 25 or so have been repetitive--I hope people are not paying to read these. I have kindle unlimited or I would not be reading. Please let this series end with Ruby and Hazel's generation! Thankfully they have gotten shorter and shorter and I can read one in its entirety in less than an hour.

I recommend this book to anyone that loves fairytale, romance, and along with a little action. I love the different kind of love stories each book offers. It's a wonderful book and I hate when I have to put it down.

I just discovered ASOV last month and have ripped my way through all of Bella's books. I even stayed up until 2am eastern time in hopes that it would appear. I've been anxiously waiting to find out what happened to the shade's 3rd generation and this did not disappoint. I love Bella's writing style, it's clear and gets right to the heart of the matter without a bunch of repeatedly overused phrases or character mannerisms. It does make for short books, but they do come out almost fast enough to keep my voracious reader's appetite satiated. Now I have a couple weeks to get back to my normal sleep patterns before the next slew of releases, including the next gender game book.
