I've followed Bob Olsen and his video interviews for a couple of years now. This book encapsulates every subject he's covered in a concise and easy-to-read way. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has questions about the afterlife, and to anyone who is just starting out on their own personal spiritual journey.

I have studied metaphysics extensively and found several tidbits in this book that I have not seen anywhere else. This tells me the author has done his homework! I was impressed that so much of what he says can be readily cross-referenced in quantum physics, in various religions, in psychology, and in the direct experience of many individuals. This book will be useful to people who are searching for Truth and to people who are seeking comfort for themselves or loved ones crossing over.

I have believed that there is 'something' after one's body has died and have been doing extensive reading for quite a few years. I recently have looked for more objective and clinical research and evidence of what that 'something' might be. Bob Olson gave me a great deal to consider! I also liked his style, reviewing things that might have been said earlier in the book in later chapters. The journey continues and I am most appreciative of this additional information on which to more deeply reflect.

This book is a good overview of psychics, mediums and NDE' s. I, like Bob, have been fascinated by the afterlife and have read everything I could about it for just about as long. So nothing in his book is new to me. Yet I enjoyed reading it as he shares the same passion I do.

Bob Olson confirms everything I knew about the afterlife from my own experiences and those of my seminar participants. I also enjoy his video series on www.AfterLifeTV.com - Check it out! Great stuff.

Ahh, a fascinating book! I have read dozens of books on this subject and find this to be the most comprehensive. Being psychic, this book spoke to me....and having had experiences with loved ones that have passed over, I felt that this book truly answered questions that people have but do not know where to look for the answers. A pioneer in the field of Past Life Regression Therapy and a Hypnotherapist, I could relate to many of
the subjects addressed in this greatly appreciated book.

A sincerely heartfelt thank you to Bob Olson for this seminal offering.

I really love Bob Olson's book. He faithfully delivers on his promise of answering frequently asked questions about the afterlife with explanations that are thorough and articulate. The questions he presents are wide-ranging, but some recur, and like an engaging teacher, he approaches these from multiple angles so that the reader truly will grasp what is being said. Although I have read extensively on this subject, I think that Bob Olson covers the topic better than most because he assumes no prior knowledge and not only anticipates but welcomes a reader's skepticism. He challenges the reader to learn for him or herself, rather than taking his word for it, which I (and no doubt others) respect. He also shares his personal journey over the years from skeptic to believer, which is interesting in its own right and also lends the book more credibility. He is not a psychic but an Everyman who, like the reader, has fundamental, compelling questions about what happens after we die. I appreciate his noting that this pursuit is not morbid but rather uplifting because learning what happens after we die (i.e., we don't really die) actually lends greater meaning to our lives in the here and now. He's especially strong in his use of analogies, one of which helped me, finally, to understand the distinction between "spirit" and "soul." Until now, I did not realize that the terms aren't interchangeable, and his discussion regarding the differences between them and what they mean with regard to reincarnation is eye-opening. Envisioning a soul as an ocean and a spirit as a wave seems simple, but actually is brilliant. Because of this book, I now have an answer for my mother when she asks whether my father will be waiting for her when she dies or will have moved on. Throughout, Bob Olson's conversational, analytical approach to the topic lends authenticity to his conclusions. Even though I came to this book already a believer in the ideas he explores, I now am better grounded in my understanding of them and also feel comfortable in recommending this book to others who don't necessarily share my views but may be open to exploring them.

Thank you, Bob Olson!

Wonderful to have all this information in one place. I think it would be comforting to people who have just lost loved ones. My only complaint is the repetition--not just throughout the book but even within sections.

Very interesting. It will help humans understand what happens to us after we are done here on earth...its not the end! Its a mircle that we are here...so this will help us to know what to expect when we pass. Loved the book and it will be a great book to share with those that grive over lost love ones.

This was a most enjoyable book to read. After losing my son two years ago, I have searched for answers about the possibility of an afterlife. This book and all the research that went into it gave me the answers I was searching for.

This is a great book. It certainly has helped me to deal with my husband's death. He died on May 17th, 2014. I was and still am having a very hard time but can pick up this book and it seems to give me the answers I am looking for. Thanks for the answers. I seem to need them and I can find them in the book, they are very comforting. God bless you.

The most comprehensive description I've ever read about the difference between a single soul (your higher self) and many distinctive and individual spirits, all of whom are extensions of that one (higher self) soul. Spirits are likened to ocean waves, while the soul to which they belong is likened to an ocean.

Bob Olson explains that your spirit never loses its individuality, even when your (higher self) soul chooses to create another distinctive spirit who will come to earth's linear timeline to have a human lifetime experience. Your individual spirit is also connected to all the other individual spirits created by your soul and each can share the others' life experiences as though those experiences were their own. So when "reincarnation" occurs (the soul's creation of new distinctive spirit to have an earthly lifetime experience), no spirit's individuality is ever lost; and when each of us cross over to the other side of life, our loved ones who crossed over many years before us will still be there to greet us.

The brilliance of Answers About the Afterlife is its clear concise explanation, like an Encyclopedia, of the afterlife and more.

I've read hundreds of new age/spiritual books over the years, and for me, this one stands out.

Wonderful book of questions and answers. That's what I wanted. Case studies aren't on top of my list when reading afterlife books. I have questions, I just want the answers. Better than any other book I've read on the subject.

I was so looking forward to this book, however, was greatly disappointed. Since Mr. Olson is a private investigator and promised to show us how he proved there was an afterlife using investigative techniques, I was quite interested to see how he went about his investigation. I never saw that. He quite readily proclaimed "truths" about the afterlife, be never revealed how he came to those conclusions. The only thing I can surmise is that he interviewed other mediums, but I'm not sure why they should be trusted. To me there was no proof - only a report about what others think. To be fair, I have never seen Bob Olson's TV program, and perhaps that would have helped.

Great book!! I've always been fascinated by "life after death" stories. Bob Olson covers it all and answers just about any question you might have about the afterlife. He also has a great YouTube channel, which I follow. A great interviewer and writer. I'm buying more copies for my friends and family.

This book dives deeper into the Afterlife, and the approach, as a private investigator, is far more detailed than other books.
I truly enjoyed the different experiences that individuals had, although as someone who has researched this for years, I didn't
agree with all his beliefs. Again, my perception and discussions with those who have had NDE ( near death experiences),
were not in alignment with his, but every spirit has a different journey. We may differ in our opinions on a couple of the
subjects, still a good read.

This book was a clear and well-organized resource for discussion of afterlife topics. I appreciated the clarity with which the author covered many aspects of this area of interest. Highly recommend it!
