I love this this series, I love the characters Ms. McGuire has developed and am looking forward to see what adventures they get into this time around.
Unfortunately, this installment was almost unreadable due to glitches, I have missing sections and formatting issues where the text changes sizes every few pages. It is frustrating not knowing what I may have missed.

Seanan McGuire hits another home run with this novel. Great story and fantastic characters, but only getting a few minutes of reading at a time is seriously annoying. I won't buy another serialization like this.

Reflections is more of a coherent novel than the original Indexing, which was a bit of a cross between a novel and an anthology. An old enemy is chaining story incursions together in ways that cause new and unique–and terrifying–consequences. Henry and her team are in the crosshairs, and she’s going to have to learn how to control her Snow White story rather than avoid it if she wants her team to survive the experience. We also get to find out a lot more about Sloane (the Wicked Stepsister) in this installment, as the bad guys decide that they can turn her the rest of the way over to villainy.

I thought Reflections was a little bit slow for me, but it’s still a fantastic book. I just can’t get over how unique and new McGuire’s ideas can be. She’s my new favorite author, and I’m thankful she’s as prolific as she is. I’ll have to alternate reading more of her books with other authors’ so I don’t become the-reviewer-of-Seanan-McGuire-books!

Well done continuation of this urban fantasy series where fairy tales come to life and disrupt our everyday lives. I really enjoy this series; it's very creative and I love how deep McGuire digs into the history of fairy tales.

I listened to this on audiobook and the audiobook was very well done. The narrator did a great job with characters voices and with portraying emotion. My only complaint is that Sloan’s voice gets a bit grating at times.

A large part of the this story (maybe half) is told from Sloan’s POV. We learn a ton about what drives Sloan, her history, and how she got to be part of the Bureau. I really enjoyed this and loved learning more about Sloan.

The story also spends a lot of time with Henry as we delve deep, very deep, into the Snow White mythos. I enjoyed this alot and it really made me want to go and dig deeper into this story myself. This isn’t your Disney fairy tale princess (although Snow White does echo aspects of that variation as well) but is the tale that always ends in blood on the snow.

All of the wonderful characters from the first book were back and some new ones were added. I loved the addition of Bluebeard’s Wife; she was awesome. There was a great mystery here and things were wrapped up nicely. I would love to see future books in this series; it’s the kind of series that could keep going for a long time.

Overall a wonderful addition to the Indexing series. I love the world, the characters, the mystery, and all the fairy tale madness in these stories. I really enjoy McGuire’s exploration into the history of fairy tales and enjoy how she makes that a driver in the modern world. I would highly recommend to urban fantasy fans who love fairy tales.

Very enjoyable follow up to the first book. It did hurt my head at times if I tried to think too hard about the details of the "story" controlling and changing people's lives. I just had to go with the flow, so to speak, without thinking about it too deeply. I definitely would not recommend anyone start the series with this book. You really need to read book 1 first. I loved the humor in the book which was only enhanced by the reader of the audiobook. The narration was excellent with the minor exception of the male characters. Her male voices were weird and not so good but her female voices were varied and fantastic. Luckily there are more female characters than male (or they speak more, at least). If you enjoyed the first book, you should like the second as it's more of the same.

So glad to have finally discovered Seanan McGuire. The two books in this series are wildly evocative of the shadow side of fairy tales. I was immersed from the first in this world that shows these stories as I just thought of them before but now forever will.

I love Seanan McGuire's work- ever since reading "Every Heart a Doorway" I've been slurping down her words as fast as I can. This is the second in the Indexing series and I really hope that Seanan gets the green light to publish another. She's a very engaging writer who seamlessly incorporates non-traditional characters against the backdrop of fairy tales we know and love.

This is an excellent “second book in a series.” The characters continue to develop. It’s not just a set up for a next book or half of a story with a cliffhanger.

I look forward to the next one.

I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style and wit Seanan McGuire wrote into both of these books, which I read back to back. The very concept of Fairy Tale characters causing havoc and plotting against reality is so comical that you just keep turning pages to find out what will happen next. I highly recommend these books to anyone who likes to escape reality from time to time.

I loved Indexing and would not have thought she could do one better - but she has with this book. She has such an ingenious way of telling a story, and the characters really came alive in this surprising book. I can't wait to read it again. It's a real treat.

Good new series!!! I really like the idea of beating the fairy tales and living life without the pressure to be a princess, or a knight or Prince.... just people wanting to live a life without stereotypes.

Sloane is my favorite still, the wicked stepsister who defies her story, but all the characters on Henry/Snow White's team are so well-drawn. It's going to be really hard waiting for the next installment.
