Left Behind: The Kids: Collection 1: Volumes 1-6

I LOVE this series. It is intriguing and suspenseful. I could literally not put the books down. It really gets you thinking, what if the world were to end right now? What would happen to me? Hands down my favorite series. A great read for young adults.

I really liked this set of books, especially when I started to read the adult books {For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, the adult series titles are: Left Behind, Tribulation Force, Nicolae, Soul Harvest, Apollyon, Assassins, The Mark, and Desecration, [soon to be released]} and saw how they tie in with the kids' books. Judd, Vicki, Lionel, and Ryan are vivid characters. They are real enough that I just have to finish each one I get that very day. I managed to get the two new ones read in one day.

What is the Rapture? The day when Jesus will come and take his children with him. We will rejoice, for it is the day that we are taken off this earth and never coming back. The day everyone who didn't follow Christ will pay the price. The start of a tribulation for 7 years, 7 years when the anti-Christ will rule the world and take over. Only the worst can happen...

Judd is a 16-year-old boy, who thinks that he is to cool for Sunday school. His family has tried to teach him about Jesus. He just ignored them and was in his own little world. He is about to feel the wrath of God and wish that he would have listen. Judd gets Left Behind, now he has to survive the Tribulation. He has one more chance to follow Christ by the end of the Tribulation, if not he will go to Hell along with everybody else. Along the way he meets some people that have the same story to tell. What will happen? Will they change? Or Stay the same way? I can't tell you, you have to read it.

Everyone is talking about this book and soon i am to. Until then keep writting reviews to keep me informed. Soon i will be writting reviews encouraging others that not all books are boring. I hope this book will bring me even closer to god and to be prepared for the future, even if im not alive when it happens, ill be ready because i know where im going. This book is very mysterious because this book talks about four kids face earth's last days together and what they talk about their lives and how it goes and what they say about God and how they think about him and all his stuff that he does.So you can pretty much see that the book is about advanture and mystery.that all I have to say about this book this and Ihope you like the book.

These books are great! i started reading them and i also got my mom into reading them and now she's a couple books ahead of me! This boxed set is a perfect starter to get you into reading these eye-opening books! The first book is kind of boring, but keep reading, it'll turn out interseting. When i first read the book of Revelation in the Bible, i didn't really understand it. I thought it would all come at the same time. These books really helped explain it to me and now i'm stronger in my faith and in my reading. These books are really great for children and adults and it helps you understand more. Sometimes these books bring me to tears because of what our world will suffer and will be decieved by the antichrist. These authors are trying to get the message to you that it might be to late so you need to be saved. I really think it was great that i found an interest in these books. they make you want to get on your knees and really pray, i really like these books and i hope you will like the too. ;-)

My 11 year old daughter couldn't stop reading the books!!!!!!!! She read an average of one book per day. She found them interesting and found that every chapter and every book makes you want to keep on reading. These books are awesome! It has also given her a better idea about the Bible.

These books are fantastic...just like the adult versions. Anyone who would call them "unholy" because they propose that "the only way to live is God's way", is sadly, lost. If you understand that God's way truly is the only way, and you want to reinforce this idea in your children, buy them these books. They are entertaining and thought provoking. They pave the way to meaningful discussions with your pre-teen. They are definitely a great value to the spiritual home!

I THINK THIS BOOK IS EXCELLENT MY YOUNGER SISTER HAS READ IT. IT'S DEFINETLY AN EYE OPENER; HOWEVER I'M STILL WORKING AT MY SON TO FINISH THE OTHER BOOKS 3,4,5,6 HE'S ONLY NINE AND READING IS NOT IS FAVOURITE COMPANION AT THE PRESENT. REGARDLESS I THINK ALL SCHOOL SHOULD BE USING THESE BOOKS INSTEAD OF HARRY POTTER, THERE WOULD DEFINETLY BE SOME CHANGES WITHIN THESE CHILDREN MR JENKINS & LAHAYE I THINK GOD HAS USED THESE MEN IN A WONDERFUL WAY I THANK YOU FOR TRULY OPENING MY EYES MY GOD BLESS YOU TO REACH MORE OF US.

These were purchased for my daughter for Christmas. She will not be reading them. The entire premise of book 1 is that if you are not immediately 100% on board with Church the moment you learn of it, but instead question if it is right for you, then you are a horrible person. Also, it very much pushes stereotypes. The black kid of course has a drug dealing uncle who is in trouble with other criminals, while the boys mom managed to get a good job in spite of "being black and a woman". The girl is "white trash" so of course she wears mini-skirts and leather. The white boys (I assume they're white, since we weren't told they were another race and people in these kinds of books are always default white unless otherwise mentioned) are from average homes with complete families, no drugs, no drinking, dads with good jobs. Anyway, these books are not biblical, are prejudicial, and the only purpose is to scare kids into being afraid to even have questions about the version of Christianity they are being fed for fear of being "left behind". I am a Christian and a Sunday school teacher and I DO NOT approve of these books.

I wanted to research the current state of children's books, so I saw
this long series -- that indicated that the books were popular -- and
bought the first volume.
If you're a fundamentalist Christian
wanting to read fundamentalist writing, this book is for you. If you
like something that doesn't talk down to kids and has some semblance
of a complete plot, look somewhere else. This book reads like a
prologue, not a novel. It's preaching to the converted. ....

I want him completely and utterly out of my life!!! Please, I beg of you, read ANYTHING besides these unholy books that teach children that the way of God is the only way and they shouldn't question it and try to find their own religion!! Don't bring this upon them please!!
