I was not a Christian. May be that now I am. But I'm also more understanding of myself, and others, and the world.

I love Emmet Fox's interpretation of the Sermon on the Mount and the Lord's Prayer. Although difficult to understand at times (I think in part due to the language used) the book gives me further insight into my daily living and interaction with others.

This is my third copy. I highlight and underline so much that eventually I have to start over. This book was my gateway into studying the Bible, and I'll always appreciate the simplicity and the power of this book and how Emmett Fox takes something that sounds impossible and turns into something you want to be and do. For that I am forever grateful to Emmett for helping me get closer to God.

Emmet Fox was a powerful voice of advanced, theological thinkers right up to the time of his death.

The Sermon on the Mount is considered to be the foundation of the principals of the fledgling Christian Church; however, now forgotten in favor of more radical Old Testament teachings of the Laws of Moses.

Mr Fox elegantly reveals the power of love and compassion taught by the Master Himself. In my opinion, anyone who professes to be a Christian and does not follow the teaching of The Sermon on the Mount has not grasped the true meaning of what it means to be a Christian. They only delude themselves.

No wonder Bill W. and friends would wander around New York to hear Emmet Fox lecture in person. I find the spiritual insights to be both new and meaningful. I could care less about the "scientific" terminology but that doesn't alter the message.

A nice and easily understood summation of the two most important parts of the Bible. The Lords Prayer and the Sermon on the Mount in teaching us how we are to act and react with each other on this plane of existence. Happy to have read this fine book.

Absolutely life changing. Take the time to read this very simple, yet practical approach to spirituality, try to keep an open mind, and most importantly, apply what is written to your life. You won't be disappointed!

Friends have suggested reading this for a long time. I just never got around to it till now. Whether you're agnostic or a person of undying faith you should read this book. It is truly food for the mind and soul.

Never under stood parts of the bible and reading the sermon on the mount, as is explained here, really made an impression on me. Not a book I read once and put away. Good to read yearly, shows how much I have grown spiritually.

Still reading this deep work on the Sermon On The Mount. This man has deeply thought through this, is seeking a more intimate relationship with JESUS beyond just reading and agreeing. This man wants to know the LORD and SAVIOR JESUS Christ.

A required reading in my Western Civilization class in college. Name the most significant event that effected western civilization? A: The birth of Jesus Christ. This book changed my thinking and my life.

This book opened up my spiritual life. Emmet Fox explains in plain language what Jesus's message was all about. Fox translates Jesus's words into plain language that I can associate with daily living. It is one of the books that I would like to read every year.
