Review:Gordo, Gordo, Gordo

How I loved your story

Learning your history was heartbreaking, at times, but it made me understand why you were the way you were

Granted 25 years is a long time to hold on to so much anger

Gordo, Gordo, Gordo

How you frustrated me at times

How I wanted to reach into the book and shake you

How I wanted to reach into the book and hug you

Something Like Summer (Something Like... Book 1)
Something Like Summer (Something Like... Book 1)

Review:Firstly, I really want to give this book 5 stars. However, like many others, the ending kinda ruined it for me. Jay Bell perfectly captures the angst and happiness of being a teenage gay boy discovering love for the first time. I believe that every gay man can realte to Ben in so many ways. So much of Ben's journey mirrored my own that it was very easy for me to become emotionally involved with this book, and that made it extremely difficult to put down.

I'm not going to elaborate on why ... Read more

The Aftermath
The Aftermath

Review:Kay does a wonderful job transporting readers to far flung destinations - from my first experience reading "You're the One That I Want," which made me feel the intense heat of Florida, to the experience in The Aftermath of the PNW's lush mountains and secluded small towns. I felt completely immersed in the setting in a way a lot of stories skimp on. This book also does a wonderful job of pulling the reader into the literature referenced throughout without needing the advantage of having read all... Read more

The Consumption of Magic (Tales From Verania Book 3)

Review:So, what was my first response when I finished reading The Consumption of Magic? ...and the love/hate relationship with TJ Klune continues.... Yep, that about covers it.

Okay, so I'm not really mad at TJ Klune. Readers knew going in that there would be loss, it was all part of the prophecy after all. That doesn't mean that it still wasn't heart breaking, even though it was expected, I just never expected... Just in case you're wondering - there were tears... pretty much a chapter and a ha... I highly recommend thus book. Read more

A Destiny of Dragons (Tales From Verania Book 2)

Review:*I received an ecopy of this book from the publisher. This has not influenced my review.*

More silly, absurd humor.

More ridiculously inappropriate sex talk in which no sexual kink is safe from being mentioned.

More quirky, sassy characters.

More adorable friendships and family and relationships among people who love each other like crazy.

More dragons that are nothing like you’d expect a dragon to be.

More magic unlike anything anyone in Verania has eve... Read more

An Mpreg Romance (Silver Oak Medical Center Book 1)

Review:I thoroughly enjoyed this book as the author took thoughtful care to bringing Finn and Carter together, not as a usual romance, but through the process of contempt, desire, like and ultimately love providing the reader a rollercoaster of emotion. Great read!! Read more

Imago (Imago, Book One)
Imago (Imago, Book One)

Review:I absolutely loved Jack and Lawson's story. Lawson is a butterfly expert looking for a species of butterfly that has never been seen before. Jack is a local Wildlife officer. They meet by chance at the airport and sparks fly between the two immediately. I loved everything about the Jack and Lawson they are truly an opposite attracts couple. Jack is strong, outgoing, and big all over. Lawson is quirky, kinda nerdy, very smart, and kinda awkward. The chemistry between them was off the charts hot. ... Read more
