The Itsy Bitsy Snowman
The Itsy Bitsy Snowman

Review:Cute book for winter and very reasonably priced. I purchased this for my 10 month old, he likes to look at the pages (and try to eat them) when I read to him. I am sure this is one we will continue to read for several years. Read more

Frosty the Snowman

Review:I purchased this book for my youngest son, who is 4.
He enjoyed it immensely. Now, he has some images to go with this classic holiday story.
It is also refreshing to read/sing it to him in this hot, Southern California summer evenings. Read more

Dr. Seuss's Second Beginner Book Collection (Beginner Books(R))
Dr. Seuss's Second Beginner Book Collection (Beginner Books(R))

Review:Great set. Everyone loves Dr. Seuss. Baby has two big sisters, so we purchased both sets and gave them to the girls so that they felt included in the baby shower. It teaches the big siblings the importance of their role in reading to baby. Makes them feel special and included in the responsibility of the newest member of their family. Totally recommend. Reading is so very important in development of children from early early early on!!!! Read more

Blue Back Book (Dr Seuss - Blue Back Book)
Blue Back Book (Dr Seuss - Blue Back Book)

Review:I didn't read clearly enough to realize that these books are the cardboard books meant for toddlers. Luckily I was buying them for a group of nephews aged 1- 3. They are great for that age, however I was meaning to start a tradition. I wanted to give a Dr Seuss book for every holiday. Next year I know what to look for. The only thing wrong is the.fact that some of the stories are not complete. Like I said perfect for toddlers. Hope this helps Read more

Instructions
Instructions

Review:I wasn't sure what to expect from this book (except for the obvious).

It ended up being not so much a story in itself, but an introduction/summary of other, older stories. However, I think the title gives fair warning to this. It's 'Instructions' on what to do during your adventures, not the adventures themselves, which is actually quite a clever idea (leave it to Neil Gaiman to come up with something like that...if you hadn't already been able to tell, I'm a fan).

When reading wit... Read more

The Night Before the Tooth Fairy
The Night Before the Tooth Fairy

Review:I like the subject matter because my granddaughter is getting close to losing her first teeth. So I am trying to get her prepared w/some books & a tooth fairy pillow. This book's illustrations are just yucky. I am a stickler for the art in children's books. I am an artist, so I am critical when it comes to that part of books. Read more

The Gift
The Gift

Review:This historical romance set in the 1950's during the time when being an unwed mother was shamed for some people. Setting of on her own Maribeth meets Tommy who's going through a tragedy of his own. The Gift is a very heartwarming, compassionate and inspirational book. Everyone faces difficult decisions in life and some are very hard to deal with. Then the loss of a child can bring about a state that no one is prepared to deal with. Maribeth had to make decisions based on what would be best. ... Read more

Good-Bye to All That: An Autobiography
Good-Bye to All That: An Autobiography

Review:I ordered a LARGE PRINT book and received a regular print paperback. I returned the paperback, and received another regular print paperback (the exact style I had just returned). I gave the regular print paperback to my Grandfather because it was Father's Day, and now, I'm not sure he can read it because the print is too small.

Needless to say, I am disgusted that my first order AND my second order were NOT correct. What a waste of time and money. Read more
