Review:This excellent book entitled, "Thirst" by Mary Oliver, is very exciting to read. The poems are realistic, contemporary, and inspiring to the soul. It leaves one with a sense of feeling which brings tranquility to the mind, body and spirit.
The architectural style of the poems is very pleasing to the eyes and actually gives a different feeling while reading the lines. The variation of such designs makes the poems easier to read. Her innovative style of writing also makes the poems very int... Read more
Review:A wonderful classic. I bought this book to read aloud to my 9 year old. We loved the book, but I missed the illustrations from my childhood copy. Quentin Blake is a quirky and wonderful illustrator, but the moody illustrations by Nancy Ekholm Burkert seem better suited to the strange story. None the less, this is a great classic and fun to read aloud! Read more

are the dead
rattling the walls
that close us in."

the madhouse of my world"

Review:The book came well within the estimated delivery date. The only issues, which were small, were the 'watermark' stain was actually mold and the book had already been inscribed. I did buy it used and paid an extremely fair price, it was bought as a novelty gift for a friend and they loved it, mold, old yet modified inscription and all. Read more
Review:These books are darling! The truck bookcase is really cute too. My autistic 3 year old (now a 4 year old) still loves these books, especially the train, tractor and car ones. I only deducted one star because for the age audience these appeal to, they should probably not have paper pages. I have had to do a lot of repair on his favorite ones. Otherwise the stories themselves and pictures are really great. Each pages rhymes. This is a great concept for a set of books as it seems most little... Read more
Review:Our daughter loves this book! Can't get enough of it. One of the dots on the cat page won't stay locked when you push it in but no big deal. It allowed us to teach our daughter the word "broke." Lots of fun :) Read more

Review:I purchased this book for my daughter's first birthday. I have always loved this poem and was so excited when I found it in a picture book. Susan Jeffers does a great job illustrating. The pictures are beautiful. I plan to give my daughter a special book each year and I am so glad I was able to start with this one. Read more
