Review:Alan Cohen is one of my favorite inspirational authors. He has written at least 15 inspirational books and has contributed to the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series.
A Deep Breath of Life is an inspirational book that gives us a daily message and affirmation, 366 days a year (yes, it includes leap-year). When I purchased this book I was so excited as I had been looking for a book that offered daily readings of wisdom and inspiration. It's so important to me to start my day off on the righ... Review:Over the years I have dabbled in quantum physics, philosophy, spiritually (one god, pantheism/panentheism, Buddhism) and found it all enlightening and satisfying in the search to understand - and yet there was always a sense of incompleteness. No more. Ziad Masri has put it all together for me and for that I am ‘eternally’ grateful. I don’t know if this is a book for everyone. It’s hard to get past our limiting beliefs. But for those wishing to achieve escape velocity, getting ready for a f... Read more
Review:Raw? YES. Beautiful? Absolutely, YES. Jamie does us no favor by allowing us to excuse or disregard our struggles and our sin, instead she gives us the gift of pointing us to Christ’s redemption! Through Jamie’s stories and deep insights, Jesus remains the theme. “Jesus is better” and I’m so grateful for this bold call to believe, accept and live daily as though He is! Don’t think twice, get a copy now! ...I mean, I highlighted half the book?! Thank you Jamie Ivey for your courage for the sweet ... Read more

Review:Someone gave this little book to me on my birthday in December. It's got brief, inspiring segments, perfect to leave in the WC. I love it so much, I bought several to have on hand as gifts. I have given one away so far to a friend for her birthday. This friend (a not-yet-believer) was very grateful and told me that she had memorized one of the verses. She is giving a copy to her sister. The beat goes on. Read more

Review:We need more true tellers. God Bless Matt Walsh for writing this book. The book gives a breakdown of the decay in our society, and Walsh boldly defends his points with reason and scripture. I've never read a book so fast, and I look forward to reading it again. Read more
Review:In the city-state of Gujaareh, power is split between the ruling Prince and the priests of the dream goddess Hananja. The priests have magic based on the power of dreams, with which they can heal the sick. One sect, the Gatherers, is dedicated to helping people peacefully pass over when their time has come. However, when the Gatherer Ehiru discovers he has been manipulated into trying to kill an innocent, he realises that Gujaareh is threatened by a conspiracy lurking at the very heart of the na... Review:I was excited to receive this book from the publisher to read in exchange for my honest review but I had no idea I would be so greatly impacted by the contents. I never believed I was someone who suffered from depression, and I really haven't "suffered" with it - but I could relate to some of the ways Michelle talked of it. I had "down days" I would call them and there were days I didn't understand why I felt so "blah" and after reading through this book, I can see all those days were magnified ... Read more
