Review:Really good read. Quite an eye-opener as well. On the surface it may seem like a good novel, but I read a lot more into it; a lot of what is going on around us, is revealed in the series. good work, Dayo Benson Read more
Review:This is an awesome reference book for animals lovers who are looking for a little help with the guidance from our animal friends. I own one, and loaned it out and my friend loved it so much I got one for her too. Highly recommended! Read more
Review:Wow, this is best thing I've read in many years. An artful blend of comedy and thrills featuring a bloodthirsty revenant from the Spanish inquisition. The author has a knack for clever dialog and amusing phrases. The characters are interesting, and quite believable - if you make allowances for the wildly imaginative circumstances, and don't include the villains who are at once clownish and horrifying. Do yourself a favor, and ignore the naysayers who would doubtless emerge unscathed from a s... Read more
Review:I have had this book for several years. I have never read all the way through it. However, I do have a tendency to get sidetracked. I feel as if a lot of the information is good basic information, however he does heavily quote his beliefs going so far as to make a basic circle casting about his path. He teaches very little on writing your own rituals. I also feel less confident in it if for nothing else but because he quotes his other books every page or so. He also mostly recommends reading onl... Read more
Review:Oh my. Everyone must own this book. I only just started to read it and everything Mr. Hays is saying is truth. It is so scary what is about to happen. All I can say is to get prepared. I am 54-years old and have been around long enough to see the world change and it hasn't changed for the better. It has become worse. One of the major changes I have seen is the greed among people and that is what our government wants because that is what the New World Order is all about. Greed starting at the top... Read more
Review:One star because it was easy to read. The story however was clearly made up and should be classified as a novel. I mean a Parole and Probation Officer moonlighting as a mocrobiologist so accomplished no one else could cure an alien and the almighty Federal Govt., in order to procure his services, had to work around his day job? Review:To bad the book is so true of whats happening to America. Does any one even care that America is becoming a Communist Nation?
Or is all that matters any more that YOU know what time the race is on and do I have some beer? Read more
Review:I was very disappointed with this book because it is primarily a treatise on the life of the Buddha, almost in mind-numbing detail, rather than a detailed treatment of why the author has gotten to the particular stage that he has in his spiritual development. The title of the book is "Confession of a Buddhist Atheist" but very little is devoted to that topic. Most of the book discusses facts surrounding the buddha's life, much of which I found to be superfluous and quite frankly boring. But t... Read more
Review:I have read almost every major book on this subject, Dawkins, Harris, Barker etc. and thought I would be reading redundant information. I was pleasantly suprised at the content as well as the way David Mills writes. I wish this book could replace every bible ever printed and it should be mandatory reading for anyone befor taking a leap of FAITH. Execellent book Mr. Mills. I wish you where my neighbor so we could chat and you could help me write a best seller. Good on you my friend,PEACE. Read more
Review:Don't judge this book by its title. This isn't a book attempting to prove or disprove anything like the title seems to say, and it also doesn't offer practical life advice like the subtitle would lead you to believe. I think Schaeffer's goal with the title was to highlight the paradoxical nature of life at large and many of his own beliefs, which I don't think the title successfully communicates (but maybe that's just me).
This is less a book about atheism or theism and more about the mes... Read more
