Review:Great character development. Held my interest from the very beginning to the end. Actually picked up a hard copy at a friend's just to look at, but then liked the first ten pages I bought it for myself on my Kindle. Read more
Review:A sweet love story. Simply writing but typically the kind I cherish when I don't want a complicated story. You can't help feeling sad, then frustrated, and finally happy for Abi! And for sure, you'll want starting your own bucket list ;) Read more
Review:This author is extremely talented--her Jackson Brodie novels are gripping and her other works are noteworthy. This was not my favorite of her work but it is still better than many American hacks of this era. The seller delivered as promised: a readable, timely and sturdily-constructed book. Read more
Review:These books are great for the first time you read a Shakespeare play. Having modern English and the original side by side, you understand the story, and after that, can focus on Shakespeare's ability with language. Read more

The book also gave good insight into medieval Christianity as it affected ordinary lay people. It also gets into the mind of a female character of those times from childhood to old ... Read more
Review:Like all Caitlin Moran books, this was fantastic. I laughed and cried along the way and now I have an all-time favorite quote that came from this book, "My hormones were rioting like a zoo on fire."
If you loved How to Be a Woman, you'll love How to Build a Girl. Read more
Review:Stepping into Lucifer's mind... I loved the idea behind this book and I love how the author pulled it off. I ate it up! It was funny, surprising and interesting. I loved reading it and would love to read more books just like it (books that dare to to make us laugh in a darker way). Read more
Review:This book has got them all. Told from the perspectives of a survivor of the horrors of Nanking and a young British woman with an obsession about Nanking, this book is definitely not for the faint of heart. But I think any reader picking up a book about Nanking would be foolish to expect a light hearted read.
Both characters, Professor Shi Chongming and Grey, are tortured and flawed characters. The talent of the author is in her ability to make them sympathetic and interesting, something ... Read more
