Review:First I liked the story of "Little Pea" and looked for the book. The story is fun and the picture is cute. I tried this set but I think it was better for me to buy only "Little Pea" because the details of the stories are different, though, the pattern of them are almost same. Read more

Review:The book was in beautiful condition for it's age. However, it is the standard hardcover edition for that book. From my experience it is not a "Big Book edition" (as advertised). A Big Book edition is usually a term for books that you put on an easel to read to a large group. Read more

Review:My 18 month old daughter loves this book. Unfortunately, we have to keep it out of her reach on the bookshelf because she has torn out some of the moving flaps. She ultimately destroyed the first copy, but she loved it so much, I bought her a second one. She lovese the moving pieces and the ability to feel the different textures. Read more
Review:hardly any info on Octopi. Just old views on western consciousness. The author should go sit a 10 day silent meditation vipassana course and explore his own consciousness. Was seriously bummed out, but maybe I had really high expectations because I've always wondered about Octopi Read more
Review:The message is overwhelmingly negative until the last few pages. I have a 3.5 year old who loves montessori school and has never feared that he couldn't do something much less that he should give up so easily without asking for help. Mr. Fish on the hand gives up often and talks negatively about himself in the process. Heaven forbid he ask a teacher for help to find the right classroom. I just didn't feel that this book was right for my family. Read more
Review:My toddler was instantly enamored with this book the second he received it. He loves the illustrations of the animals (especially riding the bus). The story is endearing. Definitely a good pic for any child. Read more
Review:Who ever the "imagination" person is within the Boynton world needs a raise. A bath time book, the kids can actually take into the bath. My nephew LOVES it, and he even looks forward to bath time, when this book is included in the activities. Read more
Review:While not a true Kingsolver fan, I am rapidly becomming one! After reading Poisonwood Bible and enjoying it, I read this and absolutely loved it. What I didn't know about ecology, coyotes and moths could fill volumes. I really enjoyed the characters and their interwoven stories and learned so much about the delicate balance of nature. I would recommend this book to anyone without hesitation. It was absolutely wonderful. Read more
