Review:This is a small paperback book starring Pete the Cat as Cavecat Pete. It features a cat and his dinosaur friends. They have quite a good day, minus a little argument, but all is good in the end. It is silly to see a cat with dinosaurs but very cute. The book would be great for ages 4 to 8 years old. Inside there is also a sheet of stickers. Read more
Review:Excellent book for little readers. It gives a touching and heartwarming depiction of how some of us aren't what we appear to be on the outside, but we are all capable of great things. Could be a good read for describing disabilities (prosthetics) or transgender (or other identity label) to small children. I highly recommend it!
As a transgender man, I may be using this as one of the possible books to explain my identity and the difference between now and photos on my brother's wall to my y... Read more
Review:Its a nice little book not overwhelmingly long or deep of a kids story but my point when I bought this was to be a supplement to Imaginary Fred, Leo, etc Imagination wise.I like a variety of art styles and really just thought this was beautiful(but a little short). I started reading my 4 year old longer books to test his patience with me but in doing so he is more likely to try and read all of these shorter books and memorizes words quickly. Its a sweet little tale I recommend to someone who alr... Read more
Review:I bought this book for two toddlers (about a year old) and they both love it. It's so cute to watch them interact with it.
Especially great for babies who have never played with an iPad (if they own an iPad, they'll be used to a more sophisticated kind of interactivity, so this might not wow them as much). Read more
Review:Creative and interactive, This book captures the heart and thoughts of a child. It makes for a great read aloud. There are lots of small letters and slips of paper slipped inside this book so, do not turn your children or student's loose with this book alone. 1st through 3rd grades would really love it. Review:My 2nd grader little boy's first chapter book. He devoured it in no time and I had to remind him his bedtime over and over, many nights. He already has started to read the 2nd book in the series. Very well written and very captivating for a 7 year old boy. Read more
Review:My preschooler loved his new work books. We dove into them the day the arrived. The color and graphics are very clear and the material itself is very good for the price I paid. Will be ordering from this company as his progresses. Read more
Review:I bought several of these since my child likes for me to read them to her. These are basic toddler books. Don't expect the Cat in the House type quality. These are simpler in terms of paper quality but gets the job done. The price was very low which is great since you don't need them for to long. Read more
Review:Received this book new from The Book Guys (a link from amazon.com). It arrived very well-packed and the book was sealed for protection. On opening the front cover of the book I was amazed at the attention to detail in the pop-up art! On each page, as well as the story pages, there are beautiful pop-ups to charge the imagination of little people. This was a gift for a 4-year old. He loves it and with each turning of a page he says, "Oh cool!." This isn't just "a book" - it's art! Read more
