Review:This book replaces one that somebody "borrowed" from me at work. I gave it 4 stars only because, being copyrighted in 1954, the examples are very outdated. But it's a great book that should be required reading for anyone who watches the TV news or reads the newspaper. Read more

Review:Be careful you don't throw away the cellophane wrapping around the book when you receive it, because apparently there's a valuable code on the label that is the only way you can enable the access to the online content, unless you're interested in paying an additional amount for the right. Review:Naomi Klein has summed it all up. There definitely is a lot of history to go through, but it is so interesting and keeps your interest all the way through. It is far from a personal perspective on Global and Domestic Shock Economics. She backs up everything with citations from a multitude of sources, worldwide. Her allusions and similes based on hard facts scared the hell out of me of what the government has been capable of over the past 60 years.
