Review:This publishing company needs to be hiring because they must not have enough proofreaders. This book is similar to B-More Careful by Shannon Holmes and True to the Game by Teri Woods. They are all about street life. If you aren't familiar with or dont understand the things that go on in the streets (the projects) then this is definitely not the book for you. The book is titled The Hustler's Wife and this is why. The wife in any situation is supposed to be devoted to her husband and in this sit... Read more
Review:The novel carries an air of eloquence that allows the reader to float through the pages. It is a quick read pleasant for bedtime stories. My only caveat is the connection between race and a woman scorned by her husband. It appears the author wanted race to take the primary antagonistic role. It by the middle of the the novel, clearly the woman's emotions towards love are the lesson. Read more

Review:This book was amazing with a twist that changed your whole vie of the characters. Eric is not given enough due diligence, his books are a non stop read that gets better and better. I will be looking out for a sequel. Read more
Review:An intense and lovely second chance romance, I completely fell for Jude and Veronica’s (Ronnie) story. Veronica has scars inside and out, and Jude is has scars of his own. Jude and Ronnie had an instant attraction which led to her avoiding her professor's class thereafter. Jude has his own reasons. A fantastic beginning, this gives great tension and let's us see where they both are. It's a great read and it's wonderful getting to know the characters and some other pieces in the undertones. This ... Read more
Review:Imagine Paul Edgecomb (from The Green Mile) retelling 'To Kill A Mockingbird' from his nursing home room, add some painfully obnoxious characters, and you've pretty much got this one.
A friend recommended this book and really sold it well, so I bought it (refund, please?) and dove right in.
Ugggg. The first couple of chapters were promising, and I got into it. Kinda like a horror novel from a child's view. I can get into that.
Then, the whole thing turned into a preachy, drawn-out lec... Read more
Review:The book was good I highlighted the passages about the Lord & his work they felt comforting to me. In this book I really didn't have a favorite character everyone made me mad in their own right. But , Florence shes the one I liked, wish there was more about her I did truly feel sorry for Annette but when she continued to let the abuse happen and then go to that negro when she needed something made me upset. Then when she got older and let the past consume her I really felt she needed counsel... Read more
