Review:This book had some remarkable passages, but was simply too sprawling to sustain interest over its 600+ pages -- not exactly what you want to conclude about a book about mindfulness, alas. The book pretty much preaches the same message preached in "Wherever You Go, There You Are," which is a more focused tome, and in my opinion, a better place to start for those interested in the mindfulness-based approach to living advocated by Jon Kabat-Zinn. I would give this book 3.5 stars, rounded up to fo... Read more
Review:This book is just fabulous. An easy, breezy, can't put it down, fun to read, heart stopping, life or death, happy and sad, drama filled ride. LOVED it. I just thoroughly enjoyed Matt's writing style. Can't imagine how awesome his bedside manner might be. Hope he writes more very soon! Read more
Review:Other prior review summaries capture the major elements of this informative book. This is the kind of story that instills concerns about the potential for future pandemics and the risks that they pose, but it encourages optomism about how science meets these threats. Read more
Review:I had been diagnosed with breast cancer, and this book was recommended. I became a student of my desease and this book helped me assimilate questions to ask my caregivers as I made my decision on surgery. Highly recommended. Use it like a reference book. Read more

Great customer service from Amazon when due to a logistical issue with the postal system a goodwill solution was proposed. Contents of book are markedly improved compared to the first edition. Read more
Review:This book is very informative about the back pain industry and alternative ways of helping your back. However, the people involved in the alternative ways differ greatly in philosophy and approach. It is quite confusing out there if you're trying to diminish or heal your back pain. Review:Andreas Moritz and his books as well as other contributions of his are a gift to our time.
Being an intuitive myself as well as studied with university degree I highly value the method and the knowledge passed on in this book.
I chose early on in my life to take my health into my own hands.
I made the right choice - I am healthy and young today - never went to any doctor for any reason!
I undertook and still do the liver cleanse process described in this book. I highly benefit f... Read more
Review:Beautifully written, inspiring stories of how one might celebrate a friend or loved one's final days, assuming (a) the patient is relatively lucid and communicative, and (b) is surrounded by people who are actively engaged. As such, this book best serves readers who still have the luxury of their mental faculties to craft a meaningful death--for themselves or a cognizant loved one. Unfortunately, scant few pages are devoted to the process of "dying well" for those already ravaged by dementia o... Read more
Review:About me: I started (intuitively) reducing carb and increasing my activity level around 4 years ago. I was overweight by at least 15kg. Initially it was very painful and I had little success. I didnt have any book and somehow couldnt do endurance sports, it was painfully hard.
I lost weight, but very slowly. Only around 1.5y ago i started reading a lot more about food, all the phytochemicals and made some changes to my diet (I already was quite informed about a lot of things). Back then sugar... Read more
