Review:I was going on vacation and needed a light book to read. I love Marian Keyes, and for some reason I had this book sitting on my shelf for the longest time. I was hesitant to read it given the sub par reviews, but I decided to take it with my anyway.
Well, it definitely was a light and quick read. At times I thought to myself no wonder this book didn't have as many great reviews- or as many reviews in general compared to other Keyes' books. Overall, it was average, a bit disappointing c... Read more

Review:It's been a while since I read any Susan E. Phillips, and I wonder now why I ever stopped. What makes Irresistible so entertaining is that the zany humor and wit is balanced out by the right amount of angst and great character development. Even the supporting cast is interesting. I enjoyed this so much, I've dug up three previous SEP books and am laughing my way through them (I'm also dying to read Torie and Dex's story). Ironically, the only reason Irresistible is not 5 stars is because after r... Read more

Review:Shelby Richmon is an ordinary girl, I would say maybe not even so ordinary – her best friend is very beautiful and popular. But one night something terrible happens – the two girls suffer a car crash which Shelby survives barely scratched, while her best friend Helene ends up in a coma with permanent brain damage. After this, Shelby is thrown into the deepest depression and won’t stop blaming herself for years, as well as destroying herself and letting others do it for her. We follow Shelby thro... Read more
Review:I could not decide if I liked or disliked the protagonist of this book. Either way, it was thought provoking on the issue of women having a life separate from a family. Although this seemed to take place in the 1950s, the subject matter is still an issue today. The action seemed slow moving in the early part of the book, but I became very engrossed as the characters were filled out and took on life. Read more
Review:I have to say it was a two year wait... a very long two years... I don't want to say it was worth it as I don't want the author to think he can wait two years for the next book - but IT WAS!!!!!
LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!! Move over Nicholas Sparks - Charles Martin is in the GAME!!! Read more

Review:I wasn't prepared for how much I would like this book. I thought I would be put off by the lack of suspense regarding Abbie's prognosis. But this book is brilliantly written and there are surprises and adventures along the way and even at the end. It is a rich and rewarding look at a husband's never-ending love for his wife, in sickness and in health. The story alternates between the story of Doss and Abbie's courtship with the story of their last ten days together. Abbie has ten dreams she woul... Read more
Review:I was provided an ARC by the author for an honest unbiased review.
Susan Mallery has hit another one out of the park! She made me cry – in a good way though. I’ve read lots of authors and love to read so when she has a new book out, I get it whether I’m done with one or not. Her style is so unique and wraps you up and hugs you with the deep emotions. In this book, she has captured real life and not just the fairy tale HEA that we all expect from most romance genre books today. If you ... Read more
