Review:*I received this book from Penguin First to Read in exchange for an honest review*
Again, I would like to give special thanks to Penguin First to Read for giving Spoonbenders to me to review as an ARC. This was a fantastic book that I wish I didn’t just have for a short period of time to review, but also to own and display on my bookshelf!
This is the story of the psychic Telemachus family that, years before the story begins in 1995 Chicago, was humiliated on live television for being fa... Read more
Review:I liked the characters in this story and how the story unfolded to a happy ending. Autism is so wide spread right now, and anyone who is involved with a family of an autistic child would appreciate this story. Read more
Review:Wonderful books, well written and very enjoyable. These were the type of books I stayed up till one and two O'clock reading, and did not want them to end. I recommend them highly, and can't wait for the next in the series to come out. Read more

Review:Out of the 13 I've read I'll place it 9th on the list in terms of overall story. Certainly beats Masquerade and falls short of Small Gods, Going Postal, Monstrous Regiment or even Eric.
Maybe it's just because I'm not a fan of the Witches story group as much as I am the others but the plot seemed weak, the elves from beyond the stones seemed to have little purpose other than they "seem to come every so often" and the journey by the Wizards to Lancre was a sideshow many to prove somehow t... Review:If you've read The Long Earth, you might expect this book to carry on the plot thread about the major existential threat that is introduced near the end of that book. You will discover quickly in The Long War that that idea has been all but forgotten.
The Long War expands the cast of The Long Earth, bringing back nearly all the supporting characters and introducing a few new ones. Like its predecessor, The Long War doesn't really do anything with most of them. There are some subplots that... Read more
Review:Sir Terry Pratchett's entire Disc World series is worth a read. By the time he wrote "The Truth," the tone had been shifting from straight-up comic (often snort-out-loud) fantasy to include political and social commentary. I read through the entire series in order of publication and plan to start all over again some time soon. Read more
Review:If you enjoy Sci-Fi and love to laugh this is a great series for you. Thief of time is part of the Discworld Series. It's full of chuckles and makes fun, tongue-in-cheek, of all the elments of Sci-Fi. This is the first book in the many available books in the Discworld Series that I've read. I can't wait to get my hands on the others! Read more
Review:While it was a very enjoyable book, I think it was not one of the best Discworld novels. The characters were very well written and interesting, and I'd love to read about Mister Nutt's further adventures. If you like sports, football in particular, you'll find this book highly entertaining. Read more
