Review:This is a good book to read when you want to read something light and up beat. If you are or were a Mom raising young children some of Erma's antics are sure to remind you of those days. No zombies no guns. Just good fun! Read more
Review:Rate this play is a little bit tricky. We all know Beckett's importance and his contribution to Literature, but this is a heavy play to read. This e-book version is very good and comfortable to read, especially in not so big screens.
The only thing I missed was some keynotes or some notes about the play or Beckett's life. Maybe a little review on the play and its context, since I only was able to understand - or try - because I am studying it in college. Read more

Review:I thought it was a pretty good book BUT ! As our hero closes in on the bad guys , he duck tapes the #3 bad guy into the seat of his SUV to be killed as a diversion in his attack on the bad guys hide out, THEN, he ties the #2 bad guy to a tree , strips him naked, poured water over him in sub-zero weather to force him to talk.... THEN , when he finally confronts the #1 bad guy, he blackmails him into giving up his office by telling him that he couldn't tolerate him killing & torturing people. ... Read more
Review:This is the worst book I have ever read. It has no point and goes nowhere. Some people would say dung thrown against a white canvas is modern art. If you are one of these such people you may love this book. I, on the other hand, see it at face value. The Emperor has no clothes. An absolute waste of 2 hours in vain frivolity. Read more
Review:The second entry in Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn Trilogy, Dark Force Rising, opens up shortly after the events of the first novel and the battle of Sluice Van. Zahn takes this opportunity to splinter the characters, so that we follow a handful of different narrative threads: the criminals with a code of honor, Mara Jade and Talon Karrde, go on the run from Admiral Thrawn, Luke chases down the batty Jedi Master Jorus C’baoth, Han and Lando encounter a general from the Old Republic turned independent fr... Review:This is definitely the least appealing of Zahn's full-length Star Wars books. But I said that in another review which I seem to have deleted.
I'm beginning to think that certain reviewers may not be reading the books very thoroughly, to put it mildly. Why? As the title of this review states, OUTBOUND FLIGHT DID NOT CRASH ON NIRAUAN.
It's just that the text material in the book jacket says that it did. No big deal... I guess some so-called "editor" has some problems with reading com... Read more
Review:Zahn cooked up a great story and made it believable, something some authers of the Star Wars Universe have had trouble doing. And yet, having read several of Zahn's other works, I can't say it's one of his best. Despite its great plot, the cast were just hard to get in to. Worst off however was how the end, it just sort of, well, ended. Up to the end the plot has ammounted to very little. Had it not been for Zahn's amazing writing style my rating would have dropped below three. However, I ... Read more
Review:How Star Wars books should be written. Love this series - it's what started me down the road of reading the expanded universe (now known as ledgends). My favorite series, nothing comes close. Well written, aliens never seen before on the screen, plot and suspense written by a master. And the new cover art is amazing. Highly recommend. Read more
Review:Fun to read and adds several enjoyable elements to the back story of several characters between the events of the movies. Took a few turns in unexpected directions, but if you enjoyed Allegiance at all then this is a must. Read more
