Review:I was introduced to Douglas Preston's books with his Agent Pendergast series (Relic, et al.) and really enjoy how he introduces some "other-natural" aspect into his stories that grabs one's attention and moves the story along.
He does that again here, this time with a high energy accelerator whose controlling computer starts talking to them when its energy level approaches 100% and the generation of a central micro-black hole starts to manifest, suggesting a doorway has been opened to ano... Read more
Review:This book is a well-written collection of Mr. LaVey's essays. For the most part this book is not required to understand The Church of Satan. The book does highlight Mr. LaVey's unique philosophy and various related topics. The range of topics is too broad to summarize, so I'll list several highlights:
"Ravings From Tartarus": Why ritual spells do not work, and how to accomplish your goals.
"The Importance of Keeping a Secret": Types of secrets, and methods to ensure secrecy.

Review:After reading through all the online literature, I bought this book; it's not a long read, but sets forth all the levayian satanism beliefs.
I think it's a valuable philosophical read, even if you don't think this is your thing.
If you're looking for something super blasphemous or devil worship, this is not for you. It is an atheist philosophy. Read more
Review:There are not demons, as there are not goods, angels and things like that, everyone knows that.
I bought that book to learn a little more about us, humans been, that live in the real and only world.
We must to do something or be happy here, there is not another place. Read more
Review:The Power of Awareness will help you understand the relationship between your consciousness, feelings and subconscious. Neville spells it out clearly in easy to understand language. I recommend reading his book Feeling Is The Secret after The Power of Awareness. If you are like many of us, getting in touch with your feelings is the key. Neville's books can help. 5 Stars all the way. Read more
Review:This book can assist you in developing your relatioship with Infinite Source. The captivating point is the use of special herbs and plants for this purpose. Some spritualist may refer to this process as the dark side, however, the use of spiritual desciplines to tap and nurture your inner self cannot be underrated. Read more
Review:This book is an interesting guide to clearing out one's soul and transforming one's spiritual life. It is well-paced and easy to read without a lot of unexplained jargon. It made good points to illustrate the benefits of the exercises expressed within, and presented a good variety of information that could be understood by anyone, regardless of spiritual background. I would recommend this book to those who are seeking to find their spirituality but don't want to join a traditional religion. Read more
Review:I have been familiar with Dr. Pecks's writing since The Road Less Travelled. In Glimpses Of The Devil he describes the challenges with two of his clients some years ago and why, from both scientific and spiritual perspectives these were genuine cases of possessions. The writing is paced and gripping and I found it difficult to put the book down at times. This is not an attempt to write a textbook on exorcism or to outdo perhaps the definitive book on the subject in modern times: Hostage To The D... Read more
Review:Excitedly I enter these words to stress the overwhelming gnosis that poors through the veil of the onlooker as one treads down the road to new and different thesis. It is stunning to note that what seems to appear so real to some can so easily be changed by the appearance of another perspective. Jesus being married and having a bloodline no way defies any real traditional belief of what is so-called Christianity, However so many are so very misled in that what they believe the Bible is teach... Review:Saw this at the library, fortunately, as it's flaws and uniformed opinions which the author passes along as "facts" - other than a catchy title - there are much better books available. Graham Hancock, whom I've met, and always gives "good" quotes to anyone who mentions his name, wrote a book called "Fingerprints of the Gods" that is vastly superior.
Very little on ancient Egypt, surprising as that is the one place where evidence of human intelligence actually survived, then he gives overd... Read more
