Review:Although I found the success story to be most interesting, I was a bit uncomfortable with the dogmatic, almost religious, flavor of their successes.
The business story seemed formulaic as if their way was and is the only way. Sign up and follow the prescribed way that we have tested or leave the organization. Review:Andy Grove has a way of distilling the complex down to very very simple concepts - and he doesn't allude to big ideas - he just tells it straight. Exactly what works and why. I have bought copies of this book to give to colleagues and staff and indeed we have modelled some of our business practises straight out of the book - why not?
