Review:An excellent addition to your tackle bag. I go fishing quite irregularly & keep forgetting the knots. This is a great quick reminder to brush up my skills. Water proof & small , tucks away easily. Read more
Review:Dave Berry shares his love for his adopted state in his own special style. His understated humor and view of life will have you laughing out loud as he skewers many icons while taking you on a fascinating tour of the Sunshine state. Read more
Review:He usually is good for an entertaining read. This book however was very repetitive with some 50 cent words sprinkled in.. The majority of the thoughts were not his own just what others had to say on the topics.. It reminded me of clicking on a news headline on yahoo and instead of an article getting copy and pasted Twitter reactions of the event. I trudged through the book, but I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone Read more
Review:This was originally a library book we borrowed... and then borrowed again... and then again! We finally bought the book so we could put sticky notes on the pages as we work through the different projects in the book. Some are easy, such as a cardboard boat... and some are just silly to include such as building a back yard fish pond! It a great book to fill some of the slow days of summer and breaks in the school year! Read more

Review:I'm a personal trainer, running coach, and longtime runner. This book is absolutely excellent a must read for anyone who works with runners or is a serious runner. I got the kindle version and may get the print for easier reference on the assessments and corrective exercises. The tables are pretty hard to read on a kindle. Read more
Review:I purchased this book after reading about it in a motorcycle article. I found it to be a pretty good read, although I find it hard to believe someone in the 1970's would choose a triumph motorcycle to do this trip on, knowing their history and reputation during the 70's! I thoroughly enjoyed Ted Simons' writing about his experiences and would recommend this book. Read more
Review:I bought this book at the airport with high expectations and looked forward to pouring though it on a long flight. I expected great stories abouth the running of the Iditarod. I expected insighftful and visual characterizations of the Alaskan wilderness. And more, I expected a real page-turner as I thoroughly enjoy real-life outdoor adventures. The book had high points and a few instances of the content I expected. It mostly talked about dogs; dog feet, dog fights, dog food, dog naps, dog houses... Read more
Review:In this book, author Lisa Fenn tells of her prolonged and deepening relationship with two very talented African American students. Each of these young people faced pretty extreme challenges: Dartanyon dealt with low vision, and Leroy had actually been run over by a train, resulting in the loss of his legs and innumerable surgeries. Each of them had unfortunate family situations in which some of their deepest needs had not been met. Lisa Fenn a television producer for ESPN, grew close to the boys... Read more
