Black Wind (Dirk Pitt Adventure)
Black Wind (Dirk Pitt Adventure)

Review:I have read almost all of Clive Cussler `s books and enjoy everyone of them. However, despite being an enjoyable reading book , Black Wind, is too predictable and lacks major suspense to the degree we are use to in the other Cussler books. Read more

Bullseye (Michael Bennett)
Bullseye (Michael Bennett)

Review:Surprised at the good reviews. I have really enjoyed Patterson's books in the past but maybe it is the coauthor, this book is terrible. I have not even been able to make myself finish it. How many adjectives can you use sums it up. Very disappointing Read more

Cross Fire (Alex Cross)
Cross Fire (Alex Cross)

Review:James Patterson scores a home run with this believable story. Detective Cross comes across as a real crime fighting police officer who has frailties like most of us. I did so enjoy reading this. Would recommend it without hesitation. Read more

Pop Goes the Weasel (Alex Cross)

I, Alex Cross
I, Alex Cross

Review:This may be James Patterson's best book yet. But then again, I say that about every new book of his. He kept me on the edge of my seat through the whole book. I love the way Mr. Patterson develops the characters. I guess that is why I pre-order his books a year in advance.

I, Alex Cross is a great read and one that you would go back & re-read again Read more

Detective Cross (Bookshots Thrillers)
Detective Cross (Bookshots Thrillers)

Review:The story line keeps moving throughout the book as they always seem to do with a James Patterson novel. Didn't realize until the end who the bomber really was. Good suspense, great ending. I Love that nana momma is still with us. She has a small part but always good.

I would recommend this book for anyone with a thirst for well written fictions. Read more

Kildar (Paladin of Shadows Book 2)
Kildar (Paladin of Shadows Book 2)

Review:The sequel to Ghost is (unlike that first book) a single novel with a coherent storyline. In tone it is most like the first section of Ghost (though with more set-up and less "servicing of targets"). Our hero of dubious morality accidentally ends up becoming a feudal lord in the mountains of Georgia (the country, not the state).

He decides to train his retainers (members of The Six Families) as a special forces team for the defense of their valley. Almost all of the book is taken up by th... Read more

Spy - A George Smiley Novel
Spy - A George Smiley Novel

Review:I saw the Gary Oldman movie and decided to reread and see how closely the movie followed the book. I became immersed in 'Smiley's World' and forgot the comparison. The characters are so well drawn and the plot has such interesting twists. Definitely worth a re (or first) read. Read more
