Review:This book not only appeals to adults but to children as well, and it is easy to follow. I sat down with my 8 year old granddaughter and helped her to sketch a dragon.

I thought is was absolutely fascinating, and actually purchased it, not to draw dragons but to use it for creating a fantasy plush toy dragon. However, once I saw the sketches and final product, I decided to tackle drawing a few dragons myself and just loved the details and overall look.

Review:A wonderful book for improving drawing technique! This is especially helpful for pros who have used line, (as I used to) This book has helped me tremendously in enhancing my style. Though I don't exclusively use the red pastel pencil Mr. Maughin uses, I modify his techniques to use in pencil, but I will use his technique faithfully when I get a chance to explore how to do it in his original style. Review:LOTS of animals, but a bit more complicated than I was hoping for. There's a lot of erasing that you have to do step-by-step & lots of combined steps (instead of breaking it down stroke by stroke). Review:This book is filled with incredible illustration's. My 12 y/o asked for a 'how to draw dragon's' book for Christmas. I was hoping the step by steps would be a little simpler, but if this book doesn't inspire her to draw dragon's I'm not sure that there is one out there that will.
