Review:Wonderful story that is beautifully written. Nalini Singh is simply masterful. In this story she wastes no words while she brings you up to date with old characters and introduces you to new ones. She describes the psy-changelling world in a way that new readers can learn about the planet and old readers can learn more. These stories are not formulaic and disappointing. Each book in the series has taken a slightly different slant on the conflicts in this world while it introduces you to a set of... Read more
Review:Heart of Obsidian by Nalini Singh is the 12th book in her Psy/Changeling series. My favorite book in the series (I love them all), was a tie between Slave to Sensation & Kiss of Snow. Notice I said was, though it is close. I never thought I would love a book just as good or better with the hero being Kaleb Krychek, especially in competition with Hawke or Lucas. But Heart of Obsidian was simply amazing. Nalini Singh continues to prove that she is a master storyteller, and in this book she... Read more
Review:4,5 STARS
Finally, I had some free time to continue reading this fantastic series. And as per usual I really enjoyed reading this story or any story in this series so far. This one was a bit different since we don't get a changeling and psy couple but two changelings trying to find their luck in love. All I can say is that I really hoped this would be a fantastic read and thankfully my hopes have been heard. :) Read more

Review:At the risk of sounding like a total fan-girl, I LOVE Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series, and this story is no exception. Like it says in the description, this story was first published in the anthology "Burning Up" and I have read it many times. Emmett is a Dark-River cat who, along with a younger Dorian, saves Ria from an attack and then protects her while DR tracks down the bad guys. This is set earlier in the series and we get to see how DR comes to be the dominant group in the San Francis... Read more
Review:While I love the character of Clay, the female lead Talin ruined the story for me. She was whiny, weak, self-centered and selfish; not someone I would have picked for Clay's mate. Coming after book 3 (the story of Judd and Brenna), the best in the series, the weakness of this story was made very clear. Books 1, 2, 3 and 5 are the best in the series. Read more
Review:I loved this series right up until this book. I usually have a hard time tearing myself away from one of her books, but this time I actually had to force myself to finish it.
While certainly not my favorite thing, I can deal with when a main character gets raped but to last for that length of time and then on top of that not even have Elle really deal with what happend, it makes no sense to me. It's not the first time Feehan has done this either. She did something similar in the GhostW... Read more
Review:Zara Hightower is the world's leading genius in artificial intelligence and is sent by Dr Whitney to still Intel back from a dangerous Chinese businessman. She is held prisoner and the ghostwalkers are sent on a suicide mission to rescue her. Gino Mazzo, one of the ghostwalkers, is drawn to Zara instantly and is determined to save her and love her. Treason, love, a fixated psychopath, and family; this book has it all. This is another great sequel to the ghostwalker series. Get it now! Read more
Review:I love Christine Feehan and have almost all her books. I was looking forward to this book and as soon as it came I put everything aside and started reading it. This was not all about sex although it was in it but it did have a lot of action, which was great. I liked seeing Alonzo and Evangeline's relationship slowly come together. Evangeline seemed so quiet and shy in the beginning but boy did she come out of her shell and then Alonzo could not hold her down to protect her. I loved how she ... Read more
Review:Pre-ordered and looked forward to it as I've read all the dark series several times over. This one is sluggish and just not up to the standard of the others. I usually finish one of her books in a single sitting. Been working on this one for days and keep waiting for something to happen. I'll think twice before I pay full price for any new books of hers.
