Review:Another great read from Mark Goodwin!
I enjoyed Book 1 very much. Book 2 was even better. The realism was rather frightening at times, and I grimaced many times while listening. Some of the books in this genre are so out there that it is hard to imagine yourself in the protagonists' position - not this book. It felt very real and left me wondering how I would handle a situation like this.
Looking forward to book 3! The only thing I am hoping for is a conclusion to the story - pleas... Read more
Review:This is a great piece of fantasy fiction. With unique ideas and we'll crafted characters. The story is well told, well written and unfolds in a manner that frequently sidesteps obvious story arcs and continually surprises the reader. I'm looking forward to the further chapters in this tale. Read more

Review:Brandon Sanderson suggested this book to his followers, and by taking his advice I gave it a go. The book is easy to read and really creates a great world in your head that will keep growing and become more detailed throughout the sequel. Do yourself a favor and give it a read Read more
Review:This book seemed to last forever, resolved nothing from the second book, and took the plot in directions I just couldn't believe. I was utterly underwhelmed after loving the first two books.
Honestly, I think you're better off just reading cliff notes and hoping that book 4 actually returns to moving the plot forward. Read more
Review:The book itself is great, but there were some deficits:
* The cover was damaged in one spot (in a place that was definitely not caused by transportation)
* The invoice was not fixed to the outside of the package, which caused it to get stuck on custom office - so I had to travel there to pick it up
But besides that, everything was ok! Read more
Review:Obviously this is a supplement to the Night Angel Trilogy and I thought it was great! The NAT is my favorite series so I'd probably love anything related to it! I hope Brent Weeks keeps em' coming! I can't wait for more! Read more
Review:I found this book to be a highly enjoyable read. I felt it was miles ahead of the first one, and it really kept me interested in the series. Like it says in the title of my review, this book is pretty good. Read more
Review:Another great installment in the Lightbringer series but I have to say that a lot of the plot failed to move forward. Yes, you find out more about Gavin. Kip and Tisis' relationship and it's growth is one of the highlights but overall this book didn't do much to move the overall story arc. I don't want to go into more detail to avoid spoilers but it's disappointing we had to wait this long for a book that was essentially another set-up. I love the world, the characters and the magic system waiti... Read more
