Review:I found the book engrossing. I was eager to know what happened. My goodness, I was extremely worried about the main character and his family making the journey to Canada. Whew! I was so relieved when they made it. Read more
Review:This is the page-turner of all page-turners! First few chapters were a bit confusing but once you get into the two realities it is easy to follow. One of Ted Dekker's 10 star books (5 stars are too few) Read more
Review:This book for children is just as exciting as the adult version! My daughter is reading the Left Behind for kids and years ago I read the adult Left Behind. It was fun to hear about the connections between the characters in the 2 books, but The Vanishings can stand alone too. Read more
Review:"Nicolae High," by Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye, is number 5 in the "Left Behind: The Kids" series of short novels for young readers. "Nicolae" continues the overarching plot of the series, which is inspired by Christian fundamentalist theology. Review:Fascinating depiction of what the beginnïng of the tribulation may be like. Interesting, likable, believable characters and how they came to become believers after the rapture. The development of the character Elijah as one of the two witnesses was truly enlightening. I enjoyed the book. Read more

Review:Emotional and a HEA. Great storyline which is easy to follow. Believable characters and interesting dialogue. The letters for Charlee from her father are beautiful.
Given the small town everybody knows your business atmosphere one would expect Charlee to hear about the bar fight. Maybe the fact it was three against one (Ian) had folks keeping quiet.
I wish the author had included links from her research for help with alcoholism and PTSD.
I may re-read this story and loom... Read more
Review:Heartfelt, tender thoughts of our everyday talks with our God and Savior. The impatient waiting for God to answer our prayers and wondering if He is in agreement. Somehow you know all is going out for Wade, but there is frustration along the way and you wonder if the author has other plans. Read more
