Review:This is definitely a beginners guide. As a more advanced photographer I felt the written text was simplistic at best, certainly geared to those with lesser knowledge of the subject. The worst part for me though were the images. I found many to be flat, both in lighting and inspiration. Since the authors are clearly capable of producing much better imagery, both technically and compositionally, I have to question their editing choices. Review:Excellent and comprehensive guide for a great camera. I bought the Kindle edition first but found it too cumbersome to look up specific things I was trying to find out about. I am not a professional photograper in any sense but I love to take beautiful and creative pictures and this guide gives me the tools to do that and take advantage of all of the features packed into that camera. Review:this is a good book for beginners. Some tricks are explained and techniques unveiled. The point is that anyone who means to purchase a good dslr or film camera and spend some hundreds for that should already be aware of what is written in the book.
