Weapons & Warfare
Review:The book is an informative special slice of history for the predecessor organization of NSA. It is an accurate reflection of the gender prejudices of the times and the lives of the young women who answered the call to Washington early in WWII. The book pays tribute to a set of very talented women that have been overlooked by history books. I know from my work on the history of the Pacific War how important the code breaking was to the success of the war effort. The first part of the book mov... Read more
Review:As a firearms instructor for police and civilian, this book is a great tool. This book covers the fundamentals needed for defensive shooting. Easy to understand and real world methods. I could not be happier with the purchase. Read more
Review:I’ve read several histories of the Korean War along with many accounts of the Pacific Theater of World War II and David McCollough’s magnificent biography of Harry Truman. Each of these works dealt tangentially with the primary subject matter of this nice, narrowly focused book, namely the conflict between President Truman and the most highly decorated and beloved (with the exception of George Washington, and possibly U. Review:Great story and well written. Enjoyed the back and forth of time segments that helped tell the story in a more encompassing viewpoint. Being from a Navy family I can truly understand the pomposity of Naval Command being obstructive I’m allowing this officer to have his named finally cleared. And what a shame it had to be posthumously! The Admirals at the time of this event in the Pacific theatre should have all been courtmartlialed for their dereliction of duty-resulting in unbelievable sufferin... Read more

Review:Gripping, well written, well paced, and is clearly written by someone who knows what they're talking about. It has a unique ability to describe details an analyst will appreciate, but can be understood by someone interested in the storyline because of the author's ability to explain technical details well. It's worth your money. Do it. Read more
