Mystery
Review:City of the Lost is an exciting start of a new series by Kelley Armstrong. I normally don't read thrillers, but gladly make an exception when Kelley Armstrong writes them and I am glad I did. There are some gruesome scenes, but they didn't impact me as much due to the awesome writing style. The beginning was a bit slow, but soon I was really into the story and had a hard time putting the book down, I just wanted to keep reading. I loved seeing the story and mystery involve. See the relationships... Read more
Review:Very good start to a new series, and I personally am glad to see it. This was more of a mystery than paranormal, or at least to start, and I was really happy that the main characters talked and researched and thought, instead of just hopping into bed.
Have to start out by saying that if you've read Kelley Armstrong's YA series, you'll recognize some of Derek in Gabriel. In fact, Gabriel seems to be a grown-up version of Derek in many ways, especially when waking up after sleeping very s... Read more
Review:I liked the plot for the most part, although the murderer's propensity to be everywhere at all times seemed to be implausible. The character of Casey isn't easy to believe either. She is too perfect, almost like a superhero. She is beautiful, sexy, fit, smart, brave, alluring to both men and women (when Casey makes an entrance, everyone forgets any other women), etc. Even after she is shot, she rises from her sickbed and goes in search of her dog. Still the story starts with a bang from the fi... Read more
Review:Started reading this on vacation and was sad to put it down for the drive back home! If only I could read and drive at the same time. Tony was a joy to get to know. Can't wait to start the 2nd book! Read more
Review:I love Kelley Armstrong and if you are familiar with her writing style you will not be disappointed. I wasn't even half way through this book before I had ordered the rest of the series that was out. I waited very impatiently for the final book to be released and it just arrived today so I'm super excited. This book is a twisting turning series that will have you captivated from page one. The characters are well developed and pretty much all of the questions you will have get answered either in ... Read more
Review:Another great story by Wayne Stinnett. When you start it you can not put it down. Make sure you have time to read it straight thru. I did not want it to end. Keep up the good work Wayne! Dave Parsons Read more
Review:ScienceThrillers review: Easy Go is a new ebook release of a thriller written in 1968 by the late great Michael Crichton under the pseudonym John Lange. Easy Go is part of a series of ten ebook releases billed as "the Med School Years" written by Crichton under the Lange name as well as the names Jeffrey Hudson and Michael Douglas.
People often speak of an author's "first book." Usually they mean the first book written by the author that became well-known, more appropriately called the au... Read more
Review:Generally, I love the "in death" series, because of Eve and Roarke. I liked this book, but I thought it was so sad when Eve was suspended from duty and had to turn her weapon and badge. But she did not give up. She is a strong woman and I love strong women, because they show real women that they can be just as strong, yet vulnerable. Read more

Review:A family assassinated by 2 men,
what happens when the mission fails because you kill the wrong little girl, and the one that you wanted is still alive?
This marks the 20th book in this series, and the last 5 books now have been
superb. The writing is crisp, the characters are so familiar by now that you can't help feeling like you just called your best friend on the link and were just catching up. There are so many plot points that weave their way in and out of each of the... Read more
