Year of Living Blonde (Sweet Life in Seattle - Book 1)
Year of Living Blonde (Sweet Life in Seattle - Book 1)

Review:First Book, but not last by Andrea Simonne. Loved this book, stayed up until 2:00 am this morning to finish this book. I loved everything about this story. Natalie's story was told in a manner that you understood her and why she handled things in her life they way she did. I would love to see Anthony's POV, to fill in his story. Hated to see their story end, hopefully we will get to see them in the next book, which I cannot wait to read. Read more

A Brady Novel of Suspense (Joanna Brady Mysteries Book 11)
A Brady Novel of Suspense (Joanna Brady Mysteries Book 11)

Review:Another well written book in this series! It was weird reading this one because I usually listen to the series, but seeing the characters names and knowing how they are really pronounced was interesting! This book has Joanna running around EVERYWHERE it felt like! She was dealing with a murder in her jurisdiction (and those poor dogs!!!) that may be connected to two murders in another area. Then someone smuggling illegals into the country with no care for their lives. An inmate also dies. And on... Read more

The Annihilation Score (A Laundry Files Novel)
The Annihilation Score (A Laundry Files Novel)

Review:We depart from Bob's perspective to see Dominique's. Turns out shes an awful person. All she cares about is her emotions and status, and cites bob giving up on the marriage as the worst thing possible. That's immediately following her date with superman and a heavy makeout session! Her solipsism pissed me off something fierce, bob can do better. Read more

The Solitude of Prime Numbers
The Solitude of Prime Numbers

Review:The Solitude of Prime Numbers by Paolo Giordano *****. I write, and this is the kind of story I like to write - - two broken characters trying to relate to others - - but written nothing like I write. It follows two characters: a severely anorexic woman who was crippled in a skiing accident as a child and a man who was responsible for the death of his developmentally-challenged twin sister as a youth and became a math whiz residing somewhere on the autism spectrum. It follows them from their you... Read more

The Giant's House
The Giant's House

Review:A freak, a circus oddity, a Cape Cod attraction or a young man facing the outside world....Who is this guy as seen through the eyes and heart of the local librarian? The bigger question is what is Peggy Cort, a thirty-something librarian, doing falling for a teenage boy? A well-written 90's "romance" novel by a new novelist, Elizabeth McCracken; and yes, she is a librarian. A poignant discovery of a woman's honest story of where her heart leads her. A great summer reading book that is good a... Read more

Howl for It (The Pride Series)
Howl for It (The Pride Series)

Review:Howl For It was two paranormal shifter romances in one book, each novella length. I originally picked up the book because I’m a big fan of Cynthia Eden’s romantic suspense novels, but I’d never tried her fantasy books. After reading Wed or Dead, I’m definitely trying more of her paranormal books, because it was fantastic! I’ve never read Shelly Laurenston’s stories, so I was pleasantly surprised by her story! It had me cracking up and it was pretty hot!
