Review:It is surprising that a book about which you already know the outcome can still be so intriguing, but Warnings Unheeded is extremely so. The book was well written, highly detailed and extremely thoroughly researched. He brings to life stories that I had read about in the past, but never felt from the victim's point of view. I cannot imagine just how the author was able to organize all the different angles from so many that were affected, but he succeeded in doing so. I hope that the lessons wit... Read more
Review:Eric Blehm does it again! After "The Only Thing Worth Dying For" and "Fearless" one might think Mr. Blehm would miss a beat with his new book "Legend." He doesn't! Another great story, another great book. Real life heroes come alive once again. Couldn't recommend it more! Read more
Review:Fantastic read. I found this book very entertaining and a great story. I wanted to read it at any chance that i got. I got recommended it by a friend but i actually bought the wrong one, the Laura Hillenbrand version provides some interesting facts and figures that are not in this and if i was to recommend it to somebody i would insist on the Laura Hillenbrand version. Review:Really great insight about her family life and Kyle's military life. Great insight on PTSD and how it can affect your family. Great read for those who might know what the armed forces actually go through in their many possible tours of duty and how each men and women respect each other as brothers. Read more
Review:Part way through reading, it is more succinct in some ways than Willard Sterne Randall, Benedict Arnold: Patriot and Traitor (1990)
There are some points of information in Philbrick that did not appear in Randall, but there is material in Randall that's not in Philbrick.
There is more detail in Randall in some aspects.

Review:I think this is an average book, although quite honest from the Author. I have heard a lot of Tim O'Brien but this is the first book I read of his. It is much more an anti-war book then a war book. In this account anyway, I find the Author's arrogance towards other soldiers who he calls GI's although I hadn't heard that term in reference to someone in the Army since WWII. I might not have heard it due to where I served in the Marines, small, remote areas in and near the DMZ. And my experience do... Read more
Review:I was inspired by this important part of Jewish history that took place primarily in the late days of WWll. I was unaware of much of the activity involving these heros in there attempts to save so many concentration camp survivors while facilitating their return to Israel. Read more
