Mountaineering

Review:Very good product. Bought this for my daughter at Christmas. She was 10 years old at the time and now is 11. Months later, she still enjoys doing her nails, using the designs in this book. Not sure about the quality of the polish, but that's not the point. Buy this for the instructions and ideas. Read more

The Climb: Tragic Ambitions on Everest
The Climb: Tragic Ambitions on Everest

Review:It has been great to read the different accounts from different perspectives of this tragic event. After reading ITA, it always struck me as strange that JK was critical of AB not using oxygen when at the very least it was a non issue and may have actually saved others. Too bad more of the climbers and Sherpas resting at camp 4 were unable or unwilling to assist with ABs rescue a... Read more

The Deadliest Climbing Disaster on America's Wildest Peak
The Deadliest Climbing Disaster on America's Wildest Peak

Review:Gripping! Wonderful factual account of what happened in 1967. Too bad that we don't know what happened many years later, and too bad (spoiler alert!) that they never found all the bodies! What was really wonderful was the commitment everyone had in finding the climbers, and the agreement with everyone that weather on Denali can be a Death wish. Tho sad, and tragic...author did a great job of bringing the reader in. Keeping it real. Great read!~ Read more
