Review:I really liked the simplicity of the trade strategy Jim explained in the book. Also, I liked the fact that he gave directives to the platform and gave examples of his trading methods.
I got lost with the indicators. At that point in the book, the book went from simple to complicated when he talked about indicators.
There was an opportunity to explain a little more into the actual trading. That is explaining when you execute a trade exactly when happens... Example if I buy USD/EUR how you a... Read more
Review:Very informative and the type of system that anyone can follow!
Markus writes in a very straight forward style and it is good to have someone explain just a single system in detail along with reasonings and plenty of examples rather than attempt to explain the entire stock market which many authors tend to do.
If there were more books around like this there would be many more knowledgable traders around who know more in terms of specifics about what they do and more importantly, WH... Read more
Review:This book is surprising timely (rare to read something that speaks to current issues when they are happening). The beginning is quick historical summary and then into the morass of our current situation. The ending was uplifting and hopeful which in today's mass media prophesying of doom and gloom was a welcomed break. There is no quick fix, but strong willed people can effect change by being conscious beings (look at what you buy and who you elect and continue to ACT)! Thank you for the his... Read more
Review:A lucid explanation of complex systems that's a must read if you want to understand how economic shocks of the past will be repeated and AMPLIFIED by many orders of magnitude in the future by: extremely entangled variables, instant communication, synthetic money, currency war, cyber attacks, and the elite's drive to stay in control. The resultant government actions will mean the end of our liberties as we know (and believe in) them today. However, there ARE things you can do to prepare... Read more
Review:The author shares some interesting anecdotes and has some interesting perspectives, gained from an unusual perch. However, the prose is very bulky and difficult to get through and the writer's voice is annoying, filled with over-generalizations and self-aggrandizement. The author credits himself with having been much more plugged into the power structure than he could possibly have been and credits himself with having more insight into the world than he likely has. Review:A very through examination of taxation up until 1775, revealing the percentage of taxation paid in America vs England, the justification of various taxes, their impact on wages and net effect on national wealth. Dry but insightful if one reads between the lines having the advantage of subsequent events. Read more
Review:Who pays for your coffee? With this simple yet mistaken (think about it!) question, Tim Harford introduces David Ricardo's theory of economic rent. Using the coffee stands at London's Waterloo station, he shows how the rents of the best locations are governed by the worst, the marginal sites at which the price can just cover the cost of production. `Undercover' does not imply illegality and danger, just a man going about his everyday business with a few extra intellectual tools.

Review:I bought this book to replace one my son damaged. It arrived in excellent condition. If you haven't read it, it is an interesting read. It sheds a unique perspective on global warming, the economics of prostitution and even suicide bombers. Read more
Review:Everyone needs to know how government really works. If people don't take the time to read about it, they will forever make bad decisions. What corporations do is not against the law, because they right the laws. Thank you Robert Reich for trying to educate us. Read more
