Review:This rating is for the kindle version. The hard copy may be great. I plan on ordering it. The kindle version is not at all eye catching. The sample is just enough to know that I don’t want the kindle version. Read more
Review:Excellent !!!
I bought this as a complementary to the two other popular kid books of the national geographic series (first big book of animals and first big book of dinosaurs) Like the other two that is perfect to widen the nature knowledge and imagination of my kid. Pages are full of colorful photos of a wide variety of sea organisms.
The cover might be misleading for those who expect an assortment of fish types. This book offers an excellent balance of fish, reptile, mammals, bir... Read more
Review:Bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew, who loved it. A big sports fan, he especially enjoyed the sections devoted to records in various sports, both traditional and non-traditional. The illustrations are fun, and nicely complement the facts and details. And the glittering cover is snazzy. Apart from the fun factor, the book is also educational, without being dull. It makes a terrific gift. Read more
Review:The mystery was good, I always like Lanyon's writing too. I really liked development of the relationship as well. There was stuff I did not like too, but because it goes into *I did not like* v *it did not work for me in the story* (small distinction I know, but this is the one I usually make in order to decide when to downgrade the book or not), I will not talk about it in the review. Review:I learned so much while playing with this book! My knowledge of construction vehicles was always pretty lousy, right down there with my dinosaur know how. But there is so much motion in this book, due to the pop up action and cutaway illustrations, that I can at last get a real feel for what a crawler excavator is. So nice to see a dump truck that really dumps the garbage! A scissor lift that really lifts, and a combine harvester that opens to reveal what goes on inside a combine harvester. All... Read more
Review:Provocatively written with a rich reference of data and research, this book is a great example of a neo-Keynesian assessment and critique of the economy.
The central theme of The Price of Inequality: How Today’s Divided Society Engenders Our Future, written by Colombia professor, winner of the Nobel Prize of Economics, and overall economic wizard, is that political and economic forces have shaped and reinforced the extent to which concentration of income at the top is created and protecte... Review:I purchased this book after seeing the author on a T.V. program. I called my cable company after reading one of the first chapters and was able to get my bill reduced $240.00 a year for the same package! That's about a huge return over the cost of the book for just one suggestion. I have already loaned the book to a neighbor. This book because it is filled with info. for our everyday lives. We work hard for our money but we also need to spend smart. Read more
Review:I bought the eBook version of this for school. The product description says it's compatible with Kindle for PC, but it never downloads, and I can't read it on my computer. I can read it in Kindle Cloud reader, but it doesn't display very well, plus I have to be online to access it. This is very strange, as I've downloaded three free eBooks from Amazon, and have no problems accessing them.
As far as the difference between MLA 7th and 8th editions is concerned, I can't speak to that. My pro... Read more
Review:Delightful reading - now I am anxious to read the play by Lucas Hnath which is a sequel titled A Doll's House, Part 2 and is being performed in NYC at the present time. The sequel is said to be consistently funny. Read more
