This is the best book and system for learning another language that I've read or used. I'm excited and well on my way to learning a second language thanks to Benny. I highly recommend buying this book!

The book is well written with great advice on how to become more fluent in any language you may be studying. It has great tips for everyone. I am going to apply some of the tips to my continuous studying of Latin

Ok.. it is actually not a fair representation to place this book at 4 stars. I actually have only started to read it today; but I have complete faith in Benny... not so much in me :). My plan is to actually put the concepts into practice for the next 3 months and will update my review. I am thinking really positive when I say I give myself 6 months instead of 3. I have a hectic schedule and will probably lose a couple of weeks in trying to make this a priority and a habit. I have always had a strong desire to continue my studies in French ( I was told I have a beautiful, almost natural accent), but I am going to tackle Spanish first. I live in Houston, Texas and there are plenty of opportunities to immerse myself into the culture and language. For those of you who are on this journey with me.. I wish you luck.

Written just like Benny talks, and writes in his blog, it looks like it will be very beneficial. I just got it so it is hard to write too much at this point, but Benny gives great value in everything he provides. He said it would be different material from what we've already read, and I hope so. I already have a great basis in French, and going to France in 2 months, so want to put his tips to use soon!

Benny gives a thousand great tips on learning languages and shares his own experience in the same time. Even If you still need to actually learn a language you wanna speak, that book will make your way to success much shorter ;)

The question is whether to start in english or spanish?

El pregunta no se begin.. en ingles o español!

Me gusto el libro muchoooooooooooo!

I like the book alot!

The book is written great and very easy to understand.

El libro es escribe bien y muy fácil comprender.

Yo comprendo mi escribo idioma esta no bien en ingles o en español.

I understand my written language to be not good in english or spanish.

I am just using the words that I know in both languages to explain in two forms of my love for the book or mi amor por el libro!

I like it soooo much I bought another copy in physical form to share with a friend.

A good discussion of how to study and really learn a foreign language. You will probably not become fluent in a language in three months, but you can obtain a good basic knowledge of the language. He gives good advice and lots of encouragement to learn a language. He gives advice on specific self-study language courses that he thinks are good. The book has been helpful to me in my study.

Want to learn a second, third, fourth or fifth language? Buy this book. Benny's enthusiasm for the topic is contagious and for me that's important. Let's face it; motivation in language learning is critical. While Benny divulges a lot of specific language learning tips, the main reason I know that I’ll refer back to this book often is that I can pick it up, read just a few words and I'm immediately infused with newfound energy to refocus my language learning efforts! Bravo, Benny!

just recently met Benny in austin and got my book signed. great read, very motivational, and very informative. it can be a much needed kick in the pants to get you to stop looping yerself endlessly thru METHODS of learning, and just go out and DO IT!

Yeah right. I bought this to scope out the method for my own studies in language learning, but this is a dreamers study schedule. no working person can give the amount of focus that would be needed to reach fluency in 3 months. There are some nice tips in this book and some nice ideas on tweaking the most from travels, but you'll need more than this book to take on any of the world languages.

Beautifully designed book, light paper. Good content regarding learning through cultural engagement–videos, books, music, etc.–good tips. Very encouraging for the aspiring polyglot. Small size allows you to carry it with you.

As someone who had been learning languages for many years, I felt this book was something gearing towards someone who had no experience learning languages. Benny starts by myth busting the most common reasons why people can't learn foreign languages, so I will recommend this book to someone who doesn't believe they can learn a foreign language.

After learning Korean and Japanese through auto-didactic means, I was a little disappointed that Benny did not go further into detailed about how he learns foreign languages. Of course, his motto is "speak from day one", and it's a good one. I've had mixed experiences with language exchanges, however. I feel I've wasted a number of hours through language exchanges over the years, so I was hoping he would go into more detail about how to get the most out of the language exchange experience or specific language learning methods.

This book is pretty good! However I think that too many people are looking for the magic bullet that will allow them to turn on the language learning potential. At this point I think that interest, and passion are the key ingredients needed. When those ingredients are not present, or dissipate, then language acquisition does also.
